We signed up for a trip on Hebgen Lake and just "because" they decided we were going to do the Madison River to Hebgen Lake. We had an absolutely perfect day - no wind - and didn't have to paddle much at all so was really a float for us :-). Deb was our guide as we meandered down the river; we saw white pelicans, a few immature bald eagles, several osprey, an adult bald eagle (flew by no pictures), lots of ducks and geese (one of the other travelers was a birder and knew them all). It was a perfect way to end out week visit to Yellowstone.
