Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. Brenda has thought of every detail you would need! The cabin was absolutely spotless upon our arrival. You can't beat the proximaty of this cabin in small town of West Yellowstone to the gate to the park. Our trip was amazing thanks to Brenda and this quaint and cozy cabin to come "home" to each evening.
Really close to Yellowstone west entrance this accomodation was as described and so cosy. Comfortable and fresh linens, lots of space and even good laundry facilities. 2 bathrooms meant no queues for showers and plenty of hot water. Restaurants in W Yellowstone fairly basic so we catered for ourselves most nights and good kitchen facilities. Good internet too. Brenda our host good to deal with. Would certainly come back.
I do wonder though that Park organisers need to think about the number of tourists arriving in Yellowstone in the late spring and summer and how they deal with parking. Only middle of June and we found it a struggle to park at the various lookouts and trails and two days found ourselves in a LONG traffic queue stretching back over a mile going towards Old faithful!!!!
Perfect location, clean house and great owners. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Close to the park and great place to unwind after long days hiking.
I booked this cabin when I signed up to run the Yellowstone Half-Marathon. If you're running this race, you need to stay here--this cabin is closer to the race start and finish than much of the official race parking. It was cold and rainy (not to mention hailing and sleeting) on race morning, so we stayed warm and dry in the cabin until right before start time. The cabin itself is lovely, a great size for a family and was super-clean when we checked in. The beds were comfy, and the wifi and TV worked. There is a nice outdoor dining area that we would have enjoyed if it hadn't been so cold the week we were there. The one thing the cabin doesn't have is a good indoor dining area for the whole family to sit around a table (there is a table for 4 in the laundry area), but we did not care about that. There is parking for 2 cars in front of the cabin (if the cars go in nose-to-tail) and plenty more on the street. While you're in West Yellowstone, we recommend gogoexpresso, which is just down the street from the cabin and the Slippery Otter (esp. the jalapeno wonton appetizer). If you haven't been to West Yellowstone in a while, the food is a lot better than it used to be. And if you're thinking of running the Yellowstone Half, do! It's great even in the rain and the mud!
Everything we needed was in the cabin. It was nice and clean and in a good location. Quiet area. I would definitely stay in this cabin again.
Overall nice, but the kitchen is cramped even for 2 people as well as somewhat minimally furnished. Exterior view may create the impression that the cabin is deep I the woods, but it's right in town .
