“Best Ever Trip to Yellowstone National Park”
Reviewed April 4, 2011

We took a custom snow coach tour led by our guide Brad Barth. There were five of us: two grandparents, two parents and a four year granddaughter.

As we entered the Yellowstone NP, the weather and snow conditions were very good.
Brad is an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He told us much about Yellowstone that was new information for us despite many previous trips to the Park. His knowledge of wildlife was incredible! He was attentive to our needs, particularly our granddaugher.

He was always willing to accomodate us for wildlife photography and hiking. The 6 passenger van was comfortable and had excellent visibility to see the sights.

When we were heading back to West Yellowstone after a lengthy stay at Old Faithful, our granddaughter said to us, "Thank you Grammy and Papa for a great day."

We will take this trip again next year for sure.

“What an amazing day!”
Reviewed February 14, 2011

First, this company is top notch! Everything from making the reservations, asking questions, and going on the tour was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever encountered. Doug was an amazing guide that had an answer to every question, and he made it fun. Highly recommended!

“Best tour guide ever!”
Reviewed February 4, 2011

My husband and I took the Lower Loop tour with Jay in September. The tour and sights were fabulous, and though we've been on many tours through the years, Jay will stand out with us always. He was personable, patient, entertaining, and seemed to truly love his job. He gave each couple on the tour a choice of his own beautiful photos to keep, and he lengthened the tour an hour longer than planned so that we wouldn't miss anything. Excellent trip and guide!

“First rate tour company and guides”
Reviewed October 26, 2010

We went on the lower loop tour with "Old" Tim September 19th and the upper loop tour with Brad September 20th. Both gentlemen were extremely knowledgable about the park. We had debated driving through the park, but I fear we would have missed so much. The first day we saw wolf, bison, elk and a trumpeter swan and the second day spotted a black bear as well as the above. If you have time limitations, I would recommend taking the tours as opposed to driving on your own. From the booking, pick-up and drop off, this company is first rate.

“Great Yellowstone tour with Tim”
Reviewed September 29, 2010

Danielle at Buffalo Bus Tours was very accommodating when we booked our September 26th Lower Loop Tour on short notice. Our guide, “Ole” Tim, was the most knowledgeable tour guide we have ever had. He’s lived in West Yellowstone all his life and has been giving tours for over 40 years. Tim not only gave us great information about the wild life in Yellowstone like the bison, elk, and bears, but he also brought to life the history, geology , and ongoing evolution that is Yellowstone today.

If you get a chance to spend a day with “Ole” Tim, ask him about the serotinous pine cones from the lodge pole pine, or the Hidatsa Indians who gave Yellowstone its name, or about the Sulfa lobus bacteria that lives in the acidic waters of the hotsprings. This was an incredible day that was filled with so many interesting stories. We truly felt our Yellowstone experience was enriched by taking this tour with Tim.
