Bill and Paula Kinoshita serve up innovative, cosmopolitan cuisine at this Twin Bridges, Montana landmark. Our family loves going there for casual brunches or to celebrate special occasions. We highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys sophisticated fare in relaxed, friendly surroundings!

The dishes here are original, interesting, and exceedingly well prepared! On this trip I had a fantastic bison dish, but I have previously had great beef and vegetarian meals. And the staff has always been very friendly in this comfortable, unpretentious restaurant. Good wine selection too!

One cannot go wrong with food from The Old Hotel. While I have made eating at this restaurant a destination trip, I honestly feel it is worth the drive off the interstate! Everything is good, period. I would order anything from the menu with confidence. The variety of fresh ingredients and tastes are amazing. The service is great, even for well-behaved kids (although this is mainly the domain of adults). Make sure to contact Paula for reservations, she is very welcoming and charming. I will be back over and over again to experience this extravagant eating adventure!

We had breakfast at the Old Hotel on a Saturday Morning. I had an omelet made with goat cheese, thyme, sundried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. It was to die for. The homemade breads were wonderful as well as the homemade jam and marmalade. My husband had a basic breakfast and the thick cut local bacon was also really good.

This is a genuine gastronomic centre in a tiny town. The fact that it was always full having recently expanded shows the draw of real quality.

The main courses showed great variety with the lamb being the pick of the weekly menu that we enjoyed. In fact it was so good we ate there three times in a week and tried different meals every night. If there was a disappointment it was the appetisers - there were only two available - Ceviche and a mushroom pate - sadly they both disappointed.

Also the dessert choices were limited with the strawberry and rhubarb ice cream being the pick.

In addition there was excellent garlic and rosemary bread for the table.

Highly recommended and reservations would seem to be essential.
