We went because of the many good reviews! The muffins were delicious, we saved them for breakfast the next day! They were still fresh! We stopped again on the way back tried different muffins and they were also delicious!

While en route back to Canada from Wyoming, stopping in Bozeman, Montana, I manged to come across Montana Wheat Company and Bakery located at Three Forks. This restaurant is just off the interstate; if headed North towards Helena you will drive right past it.

The exterior of the restaurant is unique outside with the silos attached (incorporated into the building). I built my own sandwich (or you can chose one of their already built sandwiches), and also picked up an almond bear claw (YUM!), cookie, and almond cinnamon roll; all of which are extremely delicious.

This place is extremely clean, very fast (had four ladies taking orders), all of which were very helpful.. Also, you can buy their wheat, flour, pancake mixes, grain blends directly from them; Neat!

This place is great!! The macaroons are soo good!! I have tired several of the baked goods and the bear claws are excellent - lots of almond.
They have a good selection of grain cereals, breads, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and sandwiches.
Make sure you know what you want - the help is very efficient and when they ask who they can help next - they mean it. Be ready! I usually look in the glass case and get an idea of what I want before stepping forward for help.

Like the variety of sandwiches and their yummy pastries. Never pass a chance to get an almond bear claw! Clean restrooms, good food and a gas station to boot!

Travelling from Billings to Helena, stopped at this corner bakery and was very glad I did. Even though it was a Friday in mid October, it was a very very busy place - and can get quite crowded in both the parking lot and inside at the counter. Its hard to see through all the people to see all the different flavors of baking - which one to try?? I bought 2 giant cinnamon buns and a large strong coffee to take on the road and eat later that night in my hotel room - they were both very delicious and roughly around $2 each for a GIANT cinnamon bun. There is also a gas bar on the same corner - so its a great place for a stretch of the legs and a bite to eat if you are travelling. I can only imagine how packed this place would be in the summer tourist hours.
