“A treasure of Thompson Falls!”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

We recently spent 4 fantastic nights at Rocky Point Ranch. The B & B is beautifully decorated and the grounds exquisite. The grounds include a spacious grassy area with a fire pit, granite water fountain, gazebo, benches, volleyball court, horseshoe pits with picnic areas, a fruit and vegetable garden, and flower garden set with antique tools. Patti and Sam are amazing hosts and made every effort to ensure enjoyment and comfort. Our stay was relaxing, and tranquil. Sam and Patti provided a wealth of information about the area and local restaurants. Rocky Point Ranch, if desired, offers side trips of fishing, visiting a taxidermist, feeding Patti’s llamas and where to shop for the best deals. We especially enjoyed Patti’s “train wreck” entrée and huckleberry pancakes for breakfast. A special treat was to view two male teenage bighorn sheep sauntering across their lawn to play at the river adjacent to their property. We’ll definitely go back to this gorgeous ranch in Big Sky country and bring our friends! Rocky Point would be ideal for weddings and family reunions!

We stayed here in '09,11, and this week. This is the best place to stay the area. The accommodations are first class, you share the living room with Sam and Patty who are easygoing, great people. The property is gorgeous on the outskirts of town and there is a lot of it on the river. Breakfast is tasty and dinner is available as well.

There were six couples ,and we did a motorcyle trip out west and this is one of the places we stayed. We stayed there our last night one the road before flying home, this felt so much like home we did not want to leave.
Our breakfast the day we left was great with french toast and fruit.
Please if you are every out in this area , stay here a great time and wonderful people.

The setting is beautiful and the accommodations are first class. After spending five days touring the Glacier area on a motorcycle, it was wonderful to relax on the deck and enjoy the peace and quiet that surrounds this bed and breakfast. The hospitality extended to us by Sam and Patti exceeded all expectations. I look forward to a return trip to this little piece of heaven next to the Clark Fork River.

We were looking for nice lodging as a base to attend the Montana Baroque Music Festival at nearby Quinn's Hot Springs. The Rocky Point Ranch exceeded our expectations, it was such a beautiful place located on Clark Fort River ranch land. The B&B is a new purpose built lodge, spacious, clean and decorated with care. We stayed in Effie's Room upstairs with a view of the river and mountains in July 2012. Very nice, and we plan to return next year if we are lucky!

My wife and I included Rocky Point B&B in our five week, 4000+ mile vacation itinerary. Originally, we had planned a 3 day stay at this facility, but we quickly changed our plans. We were so impressed with the setting of Rocky Point, surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains, listening to the gentle sounds of the river flow nearby, that we had to take a vacation from our vacation. But let's not forget to mention the fabulous hospitality provided by the innkeepers, Sam & Patti. Their meals preparation was absolutely the best of any we had throughout our trip. Ditto on the cleaniness and comfort of the lodging as well. Plus they made us feel appreciated too. Can't say enough about this place.

We have stayed at Rocky Point twice during our travels to MT. The firrst time as a couple
and the second with sisters and husbands.
The B&B has rooms for the romantic or rooms for the fishermen /hunters and serves wonderful
breakfasts.
The large deck is perfect for reading, having a cocktail or enjoying the setting sun.
Sam and Patti are wonderful hosts and have a beautifully decorated home to share.

Room Tip: romantic rooms on the second floor and manly rooms on the first floor.
