Best camping spot in the world for us. We drive over 10 hours to get there, and it's well worth it. Joe and Jocelyn have become family. Lots to do around the area, no matter what your interests. Joe makes a sandwich called the Swanster, and it feeds the whole family! Making sandwiches is all Joe does there, but luckily Jocelyn looks after the place. It's clean, hot showers, and the post has a lot of amenities that campers need. (You may have to explain what "amenities" means to Joe) I should really lie and say the place is no good, cause I don't want to share it, but it is our little piece of Heaven, and we love it.

A small campground with a BIG Heart. My family has spent 5 summers camping at this spot because we ALL love it there. They offer Hot showers, & Cold treats in the general store. Very affordable for us Canadians to camp there (until our hockey team beat the U.S.A. in hockey at the Olympics)! Swan lake is beautiful, water is cold & clear. Weather is usually very hot also. Can't go wrong by staying at Swan Lake Trading Post & Campground!

Say Hi to Joe & Jocelyn from The Berry's

Room Tip: Tell Joe your an Eagles fan & he will pretty much let you stay for FREE!

We were over in the area on our way to take our son to a hunting school and I had been hassling the family our entire trip about Huckleberry Ice Cream.....well lo and behold we finally got some huckleberry ice cream here - and it was so good! Very nice couple owns the place, very low on pretention and high on friendliness!

Campground is quiet and well maintained. A bit of litter left behind but otherwise a lovely spot to camp. The price for RV camping was very reasonable and the store (Trading Post) was charming and popular.

"Always ready to rip you off with a smile on his face" that's what Joe always says anyway. Super nice couple run this place. Always helpful. It's the kinda place that "technically" closes at a set time, but if you come by later you'll probably find the door wide open and hear some Led Zeppelin blaring from inside as Joe and Jocelyn prepare the goods for the next day. You HAVE to try their AUTHENTIC Philly Cheese and the Meatball sandwiches! A little taste of Philadelphia at Swan Lake. "C'MON!"
