“Lots of food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2014 via mobile

We liked the atmosphere, and the service and food was good. Reasonably priced. And you get LOTS of food! The location is behind the gas station so it's easy to overlook if you are not familiar with the town.

“Ribs were dry”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

They were short staffed and the ribs were overcooked. I was not impressed and would not return. The price was high for what you got.

“Average bar food with friendly service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I gave this restaurant a try because it was the closest restaurant to our hotel that served wine, even though the Trip Advisor reviews weren't the greatest. We set our expectations based on Trip Advisor reviews and the fact that Shelby is in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant is cute and the bartender was super friendly. We weren't sure what to order and felt safe ordering the nacho appetizer to split...it was good and loaded with toppings, although there could have been a few more chips.

The story of the small town of Shelby, MT is interesting...on July 4, 1923 the Jack Dempsey v. Tommy Gibbons fight was a bout for boxing's world heavyweight title. Turns out the fight was an economic disaster as an estimated 13,000 people got to see the fight for free. Four banks in Shelby went bankrupt in the months following the fight. According to our waitress, Shelby is currently a population of about 2,500 and "town" is very small with only a couple of stop signs.

“Trucker's Delite”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2014 via mobile

Stopped there with my wife as we were staying over next door. Bad move. Super slow service, although friendly. The ribs (the namesake of the establish) were average at best. The wife ordered the spaghetti, and well, lets just say that Shelby, Montana will never be known for great Italian cuisine. The place is a haven for truckers, so if that's your thing, then check it out!

“Worst food ever!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

Worst food ever! Had a Philly cheese steak sand. my husband the "prime rib special". He said the best thing on his plate was the cottage cheese! Very over priced! We live in a tourist resort town which means the food is spendy but IS GOOD! This place is gross!
