“A must for breakfast!”

If you like friendly family style casual dining, Johnson's is perfect. The log cabin atmosphere was very quaint and the food was plentiful and wonderful. Would definately go back!

Great portion, excellent taste, nice service and the food is way better than the Park Cafe nearby. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

“Large Portions, good atmosphere”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

Food for breakfast was good. Very large portion. Decided afterwards that we should have split the omelet. Homemade bread was good. Servers were friendly. Would go back.

“Trademark soup is worth it”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We chose to be pescetarians (no meat) but do eat the occasional bite of meat if need be. I ordered the trout which was with $ 21 totally overpriced... Never saw a trout that small and it tasted just ... average. However the beef barley soup was worth it, even for a veggie.. Utterly delicious and full of flavour. The veggie sandwich was okay though a bit greasy. We went back for breakfast and should have rather not gone.. Our oatmeal took ages, was gluey... and cold... Eggs and bacon were served much faster. Maybe that is the way to go. Atmosphere in this rustic place is very pleasant and apt for a surrounding like this. We passed on the cakes but they were huge and looked very good if not scary!!!!
I still recommend this place for the soup and the atmosphere.
