We came to Red lodge for my sons 2day baskettball tourment! We wanted a reasonable place to stay that was close to downtown!! The staff was friendly and cheerful!! They recommended places to eat!! We stayed in a room that was in the basement!! It was clean and comfortable!! The steam shower in our room was top notch!!! Love to have one at my house!!! The bed was comfy and enjoyed having a fridge and microwave for my 3yr old to have snacks!! This will not be our last time staying here!! Whenever we travel to Redlodge this will be our hotel of choice!! We reccomend this hotel to all our family and friends!! We loved the ski's as a coat rack, my 3 year old thought that it was pretty cool!! Can't wait to go back!!

Room Tip: Get a room with a steam shower!! You will love it after a long day!!

Walk to town and shops and restaurants from this rustic motel. Clean, quiet but the bare essentials were here. We stayed in a basement unit where cell service and wi-fi were sporadic due to the rural location. Saw deer grazing walking to town. Arrived back to town at 8pm Sunday after a day in Yellowstone and all restaurants were closed-be aware of your town location and hours of operation.....loved the Wine kitchen for a bite to eat....and great wine and beer specials....lots of locals.

Room Tip: Get a street level room with a porch if you can---basement was not optimal....

We have stayed at the Yodeler Motel twice. The first time we enjoyed our stay and our dogs were welcome which was nice. The second time was horrible. I thought the room was a little dingy. The towels were very small as well. The worst part was the people upstairs had a party. It was around 2 am in the morning. I called the front desk and they said they would take care of it. The party ended around 3 am. I guess I didn't realize how thin the walls were until I was awoken to the sound of the late night partyiers. I could hear the water run down the pipes everytime they flushed and hear every foot step. I don't think I would have woken up if the people would have just walked in and went straight to bed but I could not believe how thin the walls were and how loud the pipes were. It sounded as if the water was running in our room. I hope this review helps you decide.

We loved our brief stay in Red Lodge, and our spacious room at the Yodeler! The room was clean and comfortable and the host was most pleasant and helpful. Loved the touches like coat rack made from a ski. We were just passing through Red Lodge on our way to Yellowstone, but next time we'll stop and stay a while!

We stayed here for 1 night in early September 2012. We reserved an upper King room for about $99. A little higher than other accommodations on our trip, but decently priced for the area. Nice owners who were helpful & accommodating. The bathroom was large and I wish we would have had time to enjoy the double jacuzzi tub. The room was basic, quiet, very spacious and very clean. Good fridge, micro, coffee maker and very comfy bed. We preferred to sit out on the balcony at the front even though the traffic was a little noisy (quiet in the room though). The back was quieter but faced the lane & back yards of homes. Either way, it's nice to have a choice. Very handy to the town and a perfect location for hitting the Beartooths the next morning. We enjoyed our stay here, would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Room Tip: I would definitely choose an upper room with balcony.

Although the motel is old. It's filled with skiing articfacts. It is well equipped with micro, refrig and best of all STEAM SHOWERS and hot tub. This was wonderful refreshing stop. Our reservation as in place and check in rapid.

Room Tip: Our lowest level rooms were quiet and had stable temperatures.

We had originally booked into the Lupine Inn around the corner - checked in and immediately checked out. Found the Yodeler Inn one block down and more than happy with the large room. Check in clerk very friendly and helpful. Clean room with comfortable beds, obviously orginally designed with skiiers in mind, hence the steam shower/bath. Basic motel but no complaints and would stay here again if passing through Red Lodge.
