What a beautiful setting. Barbra and Scott are excellent hosts. They were both very friendly to us. Barbra took an extended time to talk with my wife. Barbra and Scott took time to explain the area to us. The B&B is south of Red Lodge and just north of the stunning Beartooth Highway. The front yard looks out at Mt. Maurice , elevation 9,260 feet. There is a hot tub in the back yard. The lower level of the house has three bedrooms for guests. There is a very comfortable common area for guests. Barbra prepared a delicious breakfast! Do yourself a favor a drive the Beartooth highway and stay at Two Bears B&B.

Have recently stayed there and loved it. We are not B and B folks, we usually stay in apts and made a last min. reservation here.
The hostess, Barbara, was wonderful as were her 2 work dogs, the Js. Loved coming home to them each day. The room was comfy as was the coffee/tea/cold drinks . chocolate she keeps in the fridge next to the rooms. The breakf. was good as was the location. The bathroom amenities were wonderful as was the shared living room. very close to the town of Red Lodge which is wonderful with free community concerts, good restaurants, hiking paths, a senior center resale store, great Friday Farmer's Market, etc.

Room tip: Cabin or Bear Room Best

I'm so glad you found our Inn to be Wonderful! We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. I'm so delighted you two enjoyed our local small town and the great charm it has to offer. I love the farmers market too! I enjoyed our talks, it was great hearing about your interesting adventures and travels. It always makes me happy to hear our guests hitting it off with great conversations and laughter and the new friendships that are forged. Thanks for the shinning review and I hope we see you again if you are ever in the area. Happy Trails and Blessings to you both, Barbra

Lotta good things, i'll list them first, then one caveat.
Getting there via Yellowstone / BearTooth highway is awesome. Being south of downtown Red Lodge is great. Deer visited in the morning and there were big wondows around the breakfast table to view them from. And the deer were real close. And they get Elk there too. The breakfast that Barbara prepared was fantastic, yummy and plentiful. The home and the rooms were interesting and comfy - lots of common space. home made cookies, plus candy and drinks in the fridge were very nice touches. many positive unique qualities to the property.

the caveat is the decor. this is not a complaint, just a gentle... advisement... for folks who may lean heavily on the non-hunting side of things. the house is taxidermy heaven. my overly "pro-animal"(?) little kid counted something like 50 "exhibits". they are plentiful and include an amazing head to tail bear and some other complete specimen. montana is a place where folks hunt. hunting is part of daily life there. and a B&B reflecting the local culture is fantastic. and this B&B does it very well. also, perhaps a solid majority of people will actually LOVE the very proud and quite impressive displays. but for the select few who could be bothered by all the taxidermy... just be aware... aware of the bear.

our stay was awesome. the breakfast was a highlight. the location was ideal. barbara was awaiting our arrival and as accommodating as can be.

Beautiful place to stay. Room was spacious and comfortable (we stayed in the Bear Room). Barbra was extremely welcoming and provided lots of little extras (hot / cold drinks station, sweet treats, home baked goods) and we had a delicious home cooked breakfast in the most stunning kitchen / dining room. She has two adorable dogs too, who we could quite easily have taken home! Only a very short drive (fee minutes) to the town centre, we would highly recommend this place. One of our favourite places we stayed during a very long road trip.

This B&B has everything! Its location on the side of a mountain provides exceptional views; the rooms are extremely well decorated and designed to be welcoming and relaxing; the proximity to a great vacation town, Red Lodge, as well as the start of the Beartooth Highway, calls to the couch-potato or adventure hiker. However, the best is the friendly and knowledgeable owner, who doubles as a gourmet chef! We intend to return whenever possible.
