“A bit of nature easily accessible”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

It's just a very short walk to the lake. A short trail goes along the shore. There is a fishing pier. It's a rustic spot, has been popular spot for locals for years to take their kids fishing here.

“Great place to take the kids for the afternoon.”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

Fishing, nature walk, fresh air. Interesting little details like the Bearberries all along the path and Park bathrooms (read, outhouse, but nice for the setting).

“Fun for Kids”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

This lake is great. often the Lake is over crowded. But we always have fun. The lake is fun for kids. We always seem to catch fish. Bring corn or worms for they often serve as great bait.

“feed the fish”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

Bring some velveeta to feed the trout. A nice little hidden gem. Easy to get to and easy trail around the lake. An hour visit is plenty unless you plan to fish. Not a must-see but nice if you are in the area and have time.
