“Great Hot Spring”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

The hot spring was very good. There was some type of problem with locals and the new charge for using the hot spring pool. Guess they feel they should be free.... I think the whole thing was a great deal and don't see why a day fee is a problem.

“Getting worse and worse.”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

The thrill (if there ever was any) for this place is gone. The rooms in the main lodge are just AWFUL with threadbare carpet and VERY uncomfortable beds, the bathrooms are mostly shared, and while it used to be relatively quiet on the weekdays, the pools (there's only 2) are stuffed with screaming kids and it's loud and crazy.....There is no wi-fi in the main lodge unless you go and sit in the lobby. The staff is rude at the front desk, the food is OK but far too expensive, and it's located in the middle of nowhere, so if you run out of snacks or smokes, you've had it. I used to be a dyed-in-the-wool fan of Chico, but I will NEVER go there again....Just crappy nowadays.

Great place to reflect and relax. Loved the scenery and spa. Restaurant was great but pricey. Fun place for couples and families. The garden area was my favorite place to dream.

“Unique and beautiful setting.”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

Beautiful setting in the mountains just miles from the front door of Yellowstone Park. There is a little something here for everyone, hot springs, horse back rides, and a day spa that worth visiting. Lodging is comfortable and clean. Can't wait to go back again!

“Hot water and horses”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

the hot springs are actually a giant swimming pool. Good to go early in the day or at night when it's cool outside. The horse back riding was fun and the guides were very helpful and funny.
