Wasn't too sure what to expect - stopped by on a whim and totally loved it. I had the house special: Finley Point Chicken Chop, which was a breaded filet of chicken braised in a carmelized artichoke lemon butter sauce that was unqiue and delicious. (Tip of the hat to a local patron who recommended it.) The carrots and corn on the cob were grilled before serving, and the mashed potatoes still had pieces of the red skin in them which contriubuted to the flavor.
They also had pizza, ribeye, scallops, meatloaf and hamburger on the menu.
The setting is rustic and quiet, and the kitchen opens onto the dining area so you can see food being cooked. Service was prompt and courteous and the bread came with a balsamic vinegar dip that was lovely.
Like I said, pleasant suprise!
