A great way to eat up on hour. I had an afternoon to myself so I stopped here. The layout was thoughtfully put together. The displays were informative and a tribute to this majestic creature. Kids will like it and can interact with many of the displays.

Even if you are not an outdoorsman you will like the interactive displays and the history lessons. Great place to take anyone including children. Kids are encouraged to touch and interact with the displays. It's fun to watch adults "sneak" a touch as well. Everyone appears to love the elk call display.

Excellent displays and screen play of Museum. Audio displays make this come alive. Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has captured some of MT's largest racks. Watch out you are in Elk territory!

Exhibits of every little critter and in each area there are teaching tools for youngsters. A nice resting area and its fun to sign their guest book.... and see people signing it from all over the U.S. and some out of the country, too. They have a GREAT gift shop which helps support the center. A must for anyone coming into Missoula, Mt.
