“Great Sandwiches and soup”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

Love Docs for lunch, Great fresh sandwiches and fresh soup. Good prices too. All the sandwiches are named from different doctors in the movies, tv shows or real life. Fun to pick a new one out each time.

“Pleasant Surprise!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

We stopped in for a quick lunch on the way to the airport to head home. The special was a half roast beef sandwhich and half soup. Both were great - ample filling in the sandwhich and the white bean chili was delicious! Very pleasant place for a quick, high quality lunch.

“Great Concept, Sketchy Execution”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

The sandwiches have fun names, and some are quite good. Oddly enough, they seem to really try on some sandwiches, and just allow others to be mediocre. The first time I visited, I enjoyed one of the good ones, but I've been back a few times since and only some of the sandwiches are good. I'd recommend the Merc down the street instead. It's next to the stationary place near the river.

“Doc's nails this whole 'Sandwich Shop' thing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

The staff rocks, the soups rock, the sandwiches rock, the cookies make my heart sing. Really, it's a great sandwich shop and I've often lamented they don't have more hours because I'd happily patronize them into the evening hours.

Eat it.

“This place is great!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

This is a quaint sandwich shop in the heart of Missoula's downtown. It was exactly the kind of lunch we wanted after a hike to the top of the "M" on the University's campus. The prices were quite fair for the quality of the food. My husband had the Doctor Hawkeye Pierce which was a hot roast beef sandwich with peppers, cheese, onion and horseradish sauce. He thought it was quite good. I had the daily special of 1/2 turkey sandwich with soup. I picked the hangover stew which was like a corn/potato chowder that I really enjoyed. The cookies with the meals were a nice touch, too. Watch out for the iced tea as it is like a spice tea and not "normal" tea you'd expect. The service was prompt and friendly. We recommend this place for sure!
