Owner description: This beautiful carousel, completed in 1995, was the brainchild and vision of a local Missoula cabinet-maker, who carved much of the structure himself and also trained an enthusiastic team of volunteers to assist in the project.

A great setting in a park next to the river. Kids love the carousel as well as the play area behind it. A walk down to the river likely will turn up folks riding cayaks on Brennen's wave. A great area to relax and hang out. Close to downtown and great places to eat. Parking is sometimes difficult, especially during lunchtime in the summer, but worth the time to find a parking spot.

I love to take my grandkids here. we love to ride the ponies and try and get the brass ring. You get the ring you get a free ride. It the summer time they open the doors and you can see the river and feel the cool breeze as you go around. They are handicap associable and give fee ride to all ages that have special needs. I hope when you come to town you take a spin on our ponies.

This is a very nicely refurbished carousel. It was a community project that turned out well. It is inexpensive to ride and is enjoyed by all ages. Free just to stop and look.

Outstanding activity for "children with parents." Picturesque river valley, surrounded by snow-covered peaks. Carousel located next to the same beautiful river floated by Lewis & Clark. Clean, great gift shop, and well run. Disagree. This is not your usual Carousel. We don't find that it goes too fast, but rather fast enough for children to Truly enjoy the ride, with excitement on their faces. Our grandchildren insist upon riding this weekly & enjoy it almost as much as my wife. Very short distance from the U. of Montana campus & home of the Montana Grizzlies.
