Owner description: This beautiful carousel, completed in 1995, was the brainchild and vision of a local Missoula cabinet-maker, who carved much of the structure himself and also trained an enthusiastic team of volunteers to assist in the project.

Great place, wondrously carved horses (some moving, some fixed), inexpensive family fun - maybe a little TOO FAST! But ya gotta reach for the brass ring if

An authentic well maintained carousel that attracts Mom and Dad along with the kids. Located in the riverside park which features food venues and entertainment in season. Nice linear park for biking and strolling.

What a place to spend a day. Always a variety of things to do.

The Carousel in Missoula is a terrific place to take your friends. There are so many colorful, gorgeous, carved-wooden horses to choose from! I'm hoping to see "A Mule named Horse" soon as part of the herd. Heads up---the Carousel went a little too fast round and round for my aunt's taste.

This was a great experience the staff are fun, you pick your horse and when you do make sure it's on the outside and grab all the rings you can your next ride is free if you grab the most. The horses are each one a hand carved work of art and hang on its not for sissy's. don't miss the candy shop buy lots of Carmel's they were yummy!
