“Clean, new hotel, extremely good value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2010

Fantastic studio room with kitchenette and lounge area. All new, clean and comfortable.
Reception staff friendly and helpful. Small shop in lobby for essentials.
Good location just off I-90. Quiet, little noise from neighbours or outside traffic.
Good breakfast selection.

Close to the airport but it is very quiet. We will stay there again.

Very happy with this hotel. New, clean and very well appointed. I have nothing in Missoula to compare it to, however, we had no complaints.... OK, maybe one.... the flat screen TV did not articulate from the wall, therefore there was only one seat in the place that was ideal to watch TV.... which we had on for maybe 30 minutes.... No restaurants very close, but many within 5 minutes

This hotel is located outside Downtown Missoula near the airport. Not much to do directly around the hotel. The hotel from the outside looks like it's around for a while but that's mostly because of the dark color. Inside the reception area it's has an authentic feel with a lot of wood. There's a small shop inside.

The rooms are spacious, the kingsize bed was a bit smaller then it was in the other hotels we stayed in.

Not much of outside noise, staff is still adjusting to this new hotel.

All in all a good hotel.

Only "negative" thing was that room keys needed activating twice since they didn't work the first time.

We stayed here on our way to Glacier National Park after driving 14 hours from Colorado...we were very tired! As soon as we opened the door to our room all was good! The bed was so fluffy and soft and so many pillows! Nice all around, comfortable, just what we were looking for after a long day in the car. Mini kitchen, big closet, flat screen tv and nice bathroom. On the edge of town near the airport so very quiet, yet only a 5 -10 minute drive from tons of restaurants, etc. The indoor pool was a little chilly but nice for a quick dip. Didn't use the hot tub because it was full, but the pool area was very clean.

I booked the Hawthorne Suites on a Priceline bid of $67 back in winter. This hotel was just about perfect in every way. It's a little outside Missoula near the airport, but we needed the room as a stopover on the way to Glacier NP. The hotel was almost full on this evening. We did take a ride downtown and it was only a short drive.

The suite had a comfortable queen bed with a partition separating the sitting room. Nice flat screen TV that did feature a handful of HD channels. The mini-kitchen featured a sink, microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom was good size and clean like the rest of the suite. Sleeping wasn't a problem on the second floor.

Lots of amenities here like complimentary internet, great complimentary hot breakfast, nice indoor pool, and laundry facilities that we did use. Staff was helpful throughout. The only minor glitch in our stay was housekeeping didn't have washcloths in the bathroom. The problem was quickly resolved. The fitness center only had a few pieces of equipment if it matters. We had spent the day whitewater rafting so we didn't need any more exercise.

Overall, great place to stay in Missoula and I highly recommend.

What a beautiful hotel! New place, great staff, wonderful beds. The rooms are huge and are very comfortable. The front desk was helpful and made my stay great. I enjoyed the pool and the hot breakfast was delicious. I am staying here on my next trip to Missoula for sure.
