The Crazy Mountain Inn was an old hotel serving miners at the turn of the century. This delightful inn now is run by Peter and Cheryl, with love, laughter and an eye for comfort. The rooms are furnished like the old days, but very comfortable and quaint. There are no rooms with private bath; you share a large bathroom down the hall. That freaked us out a little bit, but it ended up being no big deal. The bathroom was always clean and nice. The restaurant is great; they put a candle on my pancake for my birthday breakfast! Cheryl bakes some of the yummiest pies I have ever tasted! (Written up in Montana Magazine for "Best Pie in Montana") There is little to do in Martinsdale, but the reservoir is fun and all the mountains nearby hold hours of pleasurable hiking and adventure. This seems like a place best suited for adults.
