No cell phone or tv reception, but they do provide free long distance from the lobby which is nice and DVD/VHS, games, and books free to borrow while there. The Internet was down while we visited.

We had a wonderful trip here. The king size beds are extremely confortable and the rooms a huge. No cable or satalite is available but DVD's are free to borrow from the lobby. A majority of our time was spent in the mineral pools. Perfact location for a quiet drives, hikes, snowmobile's and more. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I have been wanting to see the Lolo area for a few years. We were finally able to take that vacation this year and were not disappointed at all. We traveled through Lewiston Idaho and up through Kamiah and Kookia on Highway 12. The drive on our Motorcycle was beautiful and the weather was perfect. We arrived at the Lolo Lodge early Friday evening and stayed Friday night and Saturday night. Our King size room was just what we needed for a quiet get away and we spent time listening to Karaoke in the bar on Friday and Saturday night enjoying the family type atmosphere. MIke the manager and the rest of the staff were very helpful whenever we had questions about the surrounding area such as where we could to find the Harley dealership in Missoula and any other information.

This is a vacation that I would recomment to anyone that would like a quiet getaway and wants to enjoy the wildlife and outdoor atmosphere.

Happened upon this place while using Trip Advisor to find accomodations near hot springs in Montana. Read the reviews, and decided to go for it. Arrived in early evening, and were quickly checked in and given a beautiful log-cabin room with a very comfy king bed that looked out at the woods. Also had a refrig. & microwave in the room, which was nice. Enjoyed movies on DVD's borrowed from the lobby on the LCD screen TV in the room. Had dinner at the cafe' next door, and enjoyed a good prime rib dinner for a reasonable price. Karen and Michael were both so helpful with any requests that we made during our stay. The mineral pools were great, and were not crowded during our stay. Took a drive up to Jerry Johnson natural hot springs (23 miles from the Lodge @ Lolo) and enjoyed a hike to natural rock hot pools next to the flowing Lachsa/Lolo river.
Thanks to the Lodge @ Lolo for a great stay! Hope we'll be back soon!

We spent a night in one of the rooms that was decorated so nicely with king log bed, good quality sheets, & cabin quilt. Very romantic & quite roomy! The Lolo area is beautiful & took advantage of hiking & site seeing. Michael, the General Manager, was very accommodating & made us feel very welcome, inviting us to use the mineral pools inside the lodge, borrow movies, & enjoy complimentary breakfast in the morning.

The adjacent bar & restaurant were a pleasant surprise. We had an excellent prime rib dinner & the special for the evening which was a chicken fettucini with poblano cream sauce...yummy. Afterwards we spent the remaining evening at the bar, participating in karaoke, dancing, & visiting with all the other guests & employees. Rod & Melissa, managers, encouraged everyone to sing & party well into the evening....more fun than we've experienced in years! Quite an eclectic group; some from Austria, Germany, young alternatives from Portland, bikers, and more! We will definitely find a reason to go back!

For the most part, we were pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room/bathroom. It was very quiet (we were there over the weekend) and we were not at all dismayed with the lack of TV or cell phone service. There is wifi in the main lodge, and I just emailed my messages to family back home.

We made reservations on line for our room, and, as most people, were enchanted with the pretty photos on the web. So here is where the disappointment begins: the property actually sits right on the highway, with a large expanse of parking lot at the front. The grounds are mostly barren and the sidewalk area between rooms is rather run-down looking. The oddest thing is that currently there is this gigantic Exxon Kearl Module (oil extraction unit headed for Canada) parked right in the front because Missoula activists have blocked its transport through their county. Apparently it has been in this spot for months. What an eye-sore.

In regards to the room, it would have been nice to have drapes that blocked the lights; that said, the size room we had would be excellent for a family with kids--very spacious. With the pool nearby and trail rides, it is a good location for families.

Thank you for staying with us here at the Lodge at Lolo Hot Springs and for your review. Our little addition in front of the property would not be my first choice as to where to park the structure. Yes, the activist protested against the mega loads coming over hwy 12 and their travel permits were pulled. We were expecting over 200 of these transports to come through which would have patronized almost all of the business' along hwy 12. Now that the loads are not coming over, many of the local business have had to cut back and some have actually had to lay off people. Here at the lodge, we are preparing for our upcoming slow period and with the income of having the structure parked out front will actually help us during these slow periods. I'm glad that your room was spacious and most import.....clean!
Thank you again for staying with us at the Lodge at Lolo Hot Springs. If your travels bring you back to the area, we would like to invite you back to stay with us.

Sincerely,

My husband and I are on our honeymoon roadtrip and came over the Bluegrass festival which was to take place in Lolo Hot Springs, so we booked a room at the Lodge at Hot Springs.
The first night we had a small room in the outpost (late booking, the place was almost full), which was cosy and clean. We booked two more nights in one of the lodges, and had a great room with a king size bed and the whole lodge atmosphere. We absolutely loved it!
Michael was the nicest host I have met on our trip. Whenever I had a request, he would go out of his way to help me. The rest of the staff was also very kind and helpful. Loved the place!
