“Fine for the night.”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

I arrived in Livingston after spending the day in Yellowstone National Park, and was heading for eastern Montana early the following day. Because of this, I really only needed a place to "crash" for the night. This was a camping trip, but I opted to sleep under a real roof that night, thinking it might be a little chilly for tenting. Check-in was efficient and pleasant, and I was pleased to find a microwave and 'fridge in the room... I was able to eat in that night rather than pay for a restaurant, and did the same for breakfast. The room was clean & comfortable, and the wifi, while not fast, was at least reliable. The only negative... some of the other tenants, who looked like they might be more permanent guests, were loud and crude. They eventually quieted down, but I was glad I didn't have to put up with them for another night. I guess that's what I would say... This place is fine for a quick visit (very reasonably priced in comparison to others in the area, and probably less than half the cost of staying in Yellowstone); for a longer stay, I might look elsewhere.

Came across this hotel after a long drive in Montana. Asked to see the room first and decided to stay. The room was clean and comfortable with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom looked newly remodeled. It was bright and fresh looking and had a window which, of course, provides natural light. You often don't get this in hotel/motel rooms, so this was a plus. There are 2 outdoor seating areas, one with a grill, where we enjoyed a glass of wine or two!! The town itself looked very inviting at night but we were too tired to explore. I have to give 5 stars to Vanessa, the manager. She offered information and suggestions on what to see in the area, which was very helpful since we only had one day to explore. We decided to not see Yellowstone National Park but to visit the Lewis & Clark Caverns since it was on our way home. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if traveling through the area.

If you're looking for "No Frills" accommodations outside of Yellowstone but you don't want to pay hundreds of $$$, this is a great find. (My room is was $75)

Their manager, Vanessa Haines knows the area well and will take care of you.

It's not luxury, but the rooms are clean, showers hot and location is right off of I90 (30 miles outside of the Yellowstone entrance).

We decided to make a quick trip through Yellowstone and stopped in Livingstone for the night to get an early start in the park. This was the cheapest hotel (at $70 for one queen bed on a weeknight) in the area - as well as one of the only ones that had rooms available. The room was clean, if tiny, with a clean bathroom. Not the Ritz, but certainly OK for a night.

My only complaint would have to be that the blanket on our bed had a crusty stain on it (it didn't appear to have been washed in-between customers). But as it wasn't a cold night, we just pulled it off the bed.

The room we stayed in was falling apart-literally. The heat was stuck on high; it was like a sauna. We would not stay here again

It is unfortunate a couple having a room donated by a local charity, aid acquiring a gas can and a ride to get fuel can make such an unfounded claim. There was no complaint made on the night they were guests so we could have looked at the problem and assured them of a comfortable nights stay.
They were aware I was the owner the next morning when they needed assistance and my son let them borrow a gas can and I took them to get fuel. Still nothing was said of any problem or complaint. Many guests have occupied this room prior to and since this couple without incidence or dissatisfaction.
The heating system and thermostat have been checked without any sign of a problem since we were notified of this couples difficulty.

From the outside this place looks run-down, but my room was newly refurbished and very satisfactory. I had a great bed, large new TV, and even a full kitchen for a great price. It's worth it to be away from the railroad tracks and casinos and bar noise yet within an easy drive of these. My room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, there are pharmacies, markets, and fast-food nearby. Ice and laundry are available 24/7 onsite. It's an excellent choice for a no-frills traveler who likes a quiet night's sleep.

The walls were to thin, carpet was filthy, found empty cups under the beds, bathgroom was filthy. Horrible room service, didn't clean garbage cans or make beds. Neighboring room customers were disrespectful, loud and obnoxious.
