“Awesome Place!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

We had searched the internet for RV parks for months and finally chose this place based on the reviews of Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed! We traveled with our family of 8 on a 40' coach bus that was converted to an RV. We had brake issues in Billings, MT and called to say we would be there after 9 which was the deadline for check-in. Pam and Chan stayed late and waited for us and guided us to our RV spot in the dark. Our site was within feet of the beautiful Yellowstone River. They were very thorough and friendly! Pam mentioned she had 8 tickets left for purchase for the rodeo in Livingston on July 4th and we were so thrilled! The kids were excited! (We had a blast and ran into Pam and Chan...they greeted us like "old friends" at the rodeo.) Pam and Chan were very nice as well as all the staff on site. They have a cute gift shop and prices were very affordable! You can get many supplies and food in the gift shop too. You must try the ice cream which is made locally. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were extremely nice and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool table/game room. The lawns were well manicured and there were several shade trees. We loved the beautiful location in Paradise Valley. 30 miles from the north entrance and about 18 miles to Livingston. We would definitely stay here again!!! Affordable too!

Room Tip: Not a bad site on the place!

First trip to Montana and Yellowstone. What an absolute joy to have found this park. We stayed for a week and it couldn't have been better. Facilities are spotless and Pam, Chan and the entire staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They gave us good travel tips for seeing the area and suggestions for the best restaurants. My husband got to fish within 100 feet of our motorhome in the Yellowstone River and loved every minute of it. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone.

The owners of this RV Park (Pam and Chan) are "locals" and go out of their way to help their guests have a wonderful stay. The bathrooms and laundry facilities are spotless and the evening campfire is a great gathering place where guests share life stories as well as pictures and places to see the best wildlife in Yellowstone National Park. The "store" has a mix of essentials as well as quality souvenirs. The park is about 30 miles outside Yellowstone - and situated along the Yellowstone River. Several people stay there every year for a month or more. We've stayed there for a full month each of the last two years and will do so again this year. We watched fawns, owls and numerous songbirds from our site. Last year when our refrigerator died, the owners loaned us one until ours could be repaired! They were very helpful in providing a recommendation for a local business they knew could fix our refrigerator and all ended well. The owners keep things fun with ice cream socials on Sunday evenings with all you can eat ice cream by the campfire and other special events to celebrate the holidays. We traveled over 12,000 miles in our RV in 2012, and this was by far our favorite campground!

Room Tip: Although this is an RV Park, there is a cabin on site, with beautiful views of the Yellowstone River...

We got bumped from Gardiner and were referred to Yellowstone's Edge. What a stroke of luck! This is the best RV park for the money, and better than many that charge 4 times more. Clean, friendly staff, beautiful river flowing by, the evening campfire, and more. We arrived in time for a potluck and fajita lunch on July 4 which set the tone for a relaxing stay and a beautiful place from which to venture out. Everything is mowed daily and they a great dog-walking area (big enough to keep my territorial terriers away from big dogs just wanting to be friends). Will definitely be back and stay longer.

We couldn't get into either of the two campgrounds in Gardiner and, as we were backtracking to Livingston that evening worried about finding a campground, we happened upon Yellowstone's Edge RV Park. What a stroke of good fortune! Our intention was to stay one night; we ended up staying for six nights. We got a site for our pop-up camper with a great view of the Yellowstone River. The entire park is very well-maintained and the bathrooms and laundry were immaculately clean. I felt as comfortable using the facilities as if I was in my own home. Although there are no fire pits at individual sites, there is a nightly campfire for all campers. Unfortunately we didn't have time to attend since we returned to camp too late after a full day in Yellowstone Park. The owners and staff are super nice. Pam is very engaging and always had great recommendations for us, along with information on happenings in Yellowstone Park. I would highly recommend the RV park.

Really one of the nicest RV park the wife and I have been in for several years. Staff very friendly and plenty of activities. Park sets right on the Yellowstone river.

we just stayed one night on the way to Yellowstone. Had reservations the next evening for we would of stayed longer.

We stayed here the first time about 13 years ago. We are staying here for a week at this time. Simply the best, staff, location, view of the river, laundry facilities and everything in between. Now that we are retired we will be making this a more frequent stop. LOVE this place! Thanks for maintaining such an excellent Rv Park:). Kudos!
