We stayed at this great family owned motel a total of 3 nights. LouAnne and Kevin, the owners went out of their way to accomodate us and our 2 dogs. The rooms are IMMACULATE, and the beds, lighting etc. are all really nice. Bathrooms are tiny but sparkling clean and up to date.
The best part was sitting outside with the owners, jabber-jawing about all kinds of things and watching the riders from The Tour Divide bike race (Canada to Mexico on the divide) stop in to stay in a room or the bunk house. Listening and watching Kevin and LouAnne take care of these exhausted riders was a treat! An impromtu bike wash was set-up, lots of extra TLC was given.
I have stayed in many Montana motels that are pet friendly. Usually you have to give up a certain amount of cleanliness and attractiveness to have your pets with you, not at this place! HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED!

Room Tip: Rooms 1 and 8 are pet friendly. Call ahead!

We took a trip to Lincoln to go snowmobiling and spent three nights at the Three Bears Motel. We highly recommend this little gem as a great place to stay. The motel is nestled amongst the ponderosa pines of the area. The rooms are exceptionally clean and affordable. The room we stayed in had a very comfortable queen bed, tables, cable tv, microwave and small fridge. The bathroom was spotless.
Above all, we found the shining feature of the motel to be the owners, Kevin & Louanne. They were two of the friendliest and most helpful people we have ever met. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable with our stay. Kevin even went as far as to help us recover our broken snowmobile trailer and get it to the repair shop.
We will definitely stay at this wonderful motel again!

The roads were so slick we had to spend the night in Lincoln instead of driving straight home as planned. The hotel was built in 1947, and is a family-run business. The family that owns it is very friendly. The way the pipes are run to keep from freezing it takes about 2 min of running water to get hot water. On the flip side, if you want ice cold water, it's awesome right out of the spigot! The room was clean, smelled fresh, was warm and the queen bed was extremely comfortable. There was cable tv, microwave, fridge, two queen beds, table and two chairs in our room. The bathroom had a pedestal sink, toilet and shower stall. Even though I use a wheelchair part time, I would have been able to navigate the room in my wheelchair, but not the bathroom. The bathroom, however, is small enough and arranged perfectly that I can hold onto things and move around in there with support. We paid $55.11 for the room for two people. It was the best night sleep I've had in a hotel in a while. Earlier this month we stayed in a "lodge" in Bigfork and paid 3x more than we did here. My husband had even verbalized what I was thinking...there may be no pool here, no jacuzzi in the room, but when it comes to a good night's sleep, Three Bears wins hands-down over Mountain Lake Lodge any day.
