“Have to recommend this place!”
Reviewed August 10, 2011

We just returned from a week at Glacier National Park. We used the Hampton Inn in Kalispell as our home base. What a wonderful home base it was.. clean, roomy, convenient and friendly to boot! The breakfast each morning was excellent and held us til late afternoon when we were ready to leave the park for the day. We booked a suite since we were celebrating an anniversary and enjoyed every feature...including the balcony to watch the sun set each evening. Definitely the best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. If you are in the area, it is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Booked online.

A refreshing overnight stay on our way home from Glacier Nat'l Park, very clean spacious rooms, hallways and lobby, fully air conditioned. Surprised to learn the hotel was fourteen yrs old, recent updates made it look like it was new. Nice breakfast in the lobby.

The Hampton Inn is relatively new and features a large lobby, spacious rooms, a business center, indoor pool, fitness center, free full breakfast and wireless internet. Definitely deserving of its rating as one of the best options in Kalispell, there are a few distractions. The hotel may be difficult to find due to its location behind an Arby’s, quite a few of the front rooms have a view of the roof and HVAC system, and the décor of the room, while reflecting the west, seems to not reflect the image of an otherwise upscale hotel. Certainly, the Hampton Inn is worth consideration if visiting Kalispell and Glacier National Park.

Room Tip: Some of the front rooms on the second & third floors have a view of the roof

This is my favorite Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. The room was larger than most Hampton Inns I have stayed at and were very comfortable. The hotel as a whole is very roomy...the lobby is decorated in beautiful "local mountain/lodgy" type decor, and has tons of seating and tons of room everywhere, unlike most of these types of hotels, which are limited in the open space. There were multiple elevators and stairwells, which is helpful! The breakfast was very good quality and always stocked, even though it was always quite busy. The staff at the hotel all seemed quite knowledgeable and friendly. The pool and hot tubs looked wonderful, though we did not use. The first night we checked in the air-conditioning was not cool. I believe it was among the very first warm nights of the year. We reported it early the next morning and when we came back that evening it was perfect. I have nothing negative to say about this property... wonderful hotel.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Kalispell the night before driving into Glacier National Park the second week in July. Our room and the facility were very nice and attractive -- much nicer than our rooms in the park for the following five nights. Housekeeping does a great job -- our king room and bath were very clean. The comfortable bed provided for a good sleep. In the bath area, the sink and vanity are separate from the tub and toilet -- great for two people getting ready for the day at the same time.

Other reviewers have mentioned the amenities and breakfast, so I'll only mention that this Hampton provides everything that we have come to expect in a Hampton Inn. Everything we needed was provided. The flat panel TVs are better than the cable picture. The breakfast options are plentiful and tasty, and the breakfast area has a large space for many guests. The breakfast staff were busy, attentive, and efficient. Be sure to check out the big bear in the lobby.

We made a short drive to the local Walmart and sporting goods stores to get supplies for the next six days in the park. The room refrigerator was handy for cooling food that we bought at the store.

The business center has three PCs that are well used by the guests. I was glad to have a chance to check the GTTSR conditions before heading into the park, and it was great to talk with other guests who had just completed their stays in the park and could speak personally about the conditions of the trails.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, and will definitely come back, and recommend it to others.
It looks like the hotel was recently renovated or is bran new. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Great location. Close to down town restaurants.Hotel receptionist very welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful with any questions. The check- in process went quickly and smoothly. The room was very clean and spacious.Comfortable bed. We didn't try their free breakfast (had to have Starbucks in the morning).

Room Tip: We made an on line reservation via Hotels.com 2 months in advance

My family stayed here in August 2010 as a stop over on the way back to Canada. It was very hard to find, there was a ton of construction right on the hwy so it took a few tries, no noticeable sign from the road to find it. The rooms were clean, and great, the pool was not nice tho, the water was extremely cloudy and the chlorine smell burned your eyes, I hope that has improved. Breakfast was nice, great selection of food, good coffee. Not sure if I would return though.
