We stayed here with our three kids (ages: 7, 12, 13) while doing some shopping, so the fact that there is a mall attached was wonderful! The room was very clean and the soaps in the bathroom were provided by Bath and body works! The Roaring Start Breakfast included in the price of the room was amazing, there was a pancake machine in which you push a button and in 45 seconds you have 2 fresh pancakes! (my kids LOVED that!) There was a cook waiting to make you eggs of any kind while you wait, (scrambled, omelette...), toast, bagels and cream cheese, cold cereal, oatmeal!! Every employee that we encountered, even if just passing in the hall had a smile and a hello for us! We didn't have time to take in the pool, but it looked beautiful! The windows opened, so you could get fresh air into your room. We stayed for 2 nights and when the housekeeping ladies tidied our room, they took the care to place my kids teddies on the bed after they made it. That might not sound like much, but it shows they took care with my kids special things. The only slight negative was that the TV had few channels and it was not very good quality. The coffeepot in our room didn't work, but a call to the front desk and we had a new one within 5 minutes. I recommend this hotel to people with families.

Wow, what excellent feedback! I am so happy that your stay went so well. The staff really does have a great attitude and it sounds like even our housekeeping staff helped to make this a memorable experience! It always is such a big motivator to see this kind of review and we cat say enough how much we appreciate the time to let us know how we are doing! If ever you find yourself in Kalispell again, you know you have a home away from home with us!

Nice location, rooms were well appointed and clean. Price was good. Staff was friendly. But the service was a bit lacking.
- when we checked in we asked if we could upgrade to a king bed, the front desk lady literally did a hand cleaning motion and said "priceline what you buy is what you get". was kind of awkward. Perhaps but a bit of diplomacy is nice.
- i asked for a razor as i had forgotten mine, I had my child who was sleeping but was alone, the desk said i was lucky they had one but that they could not deliver it because she was alone. I waited till the kid woke up and walked down and on the way passed 3 employees. on the plus side i got the razor... which i appreciate.
- at 8:30 on monday morning we packed down to the breakfast buffet. they were out of eggs, biscuits, bacon, hash browns. etc.. for the 10 minutes i waited. the orange juice was about 1/3 strength.

Decent hotel that needs a bit of polish. wouldn't be hard stuff to fix so I still recommend them over the travel lodge at $38 but not the hampton at $99

I would like to thank you for your business & also in taking the time to evaluate our property and services. In providing your opinion on your experience with us it allows an evaluation of where we need to focus our attention on to “polish” things up.

During your visit it appears as though we were not to our normal level of great customer service that we are known for on a local & also corporate level. After having discussed your issues with our employees and pointing out how important every interaction is with our customers & how it has an impact on their experiences away from home, we have noticed they have picked up their drive to satisfy every guest.

I would like to extend an invitation to you to show you that this was not something we are known for, as our "Best Midscale w/F&B Hotel" of 2010 award from Market Metrix Hospitality Index would go to show. Our #1 goal as a corporation is to ensure that our customers……”Stay Comfortable”

If you would like to take an opportunity to see for yourself, please email me @ jason.tietema@redlion.com

Once again thank you for everything

We purchased two nights in Kalispell on Priceline and came up with Red Lion Hotel. Great central location, connected to the downtown mall. My wife went shopping while I went to the room to sleep, so we were both happy. The hotel was very good value because a hot breakfast is included in the price of the room, and a staff member was present at breakfast to make you an omelet of your choosing. Although the hotel was built probably 25 years ago, recent updates help it a lot and the newer entry and foyer have a very nice feel. The only negative for us was the pool area. It should be refurbished, in keeping with the rest of the hotel. We used the pool but it did not feel that clean - we saw moss growing in the window sills and between the cement cracks on the pool deck. Staff members were friendly and attentive - they really try to "go beyond" and give a good experience for their guests.

We have stayed at this hotel before and always have had the best service. The rooms are always kept clean and tidy. One of the best items they have added is the full breakfast in the morning. The food is very good and hot. The hotel is centrally located to go in any direction. The front desk personel are always friendly and very helpful to you. Just a great Hotel to stay in.

My husband and I stayed at the Red Lion during our Canadian Thanksgiving get away & pre Christmas shopping trip. It was great to hit the shops in the mall, without having to lug a heavy jacket with me, and then drop off our buys in our room. The room was clean, quiet and ,thanks to a king bed, we had a great night's sleep. At night we walked across the street to Mooses Pub, for the best pizza in Montana, and then did some window shopping downtown.

The hotel is a quick 5-10 minute drive to Wal-Mart, Target, Costco etc. We were so tired from shopping we didn't get a chance to try out the hot tub or pool but we plan to on our next visit. Make sure to double check the times of the breakfast buffet during your stay, we forgot to and missed the buffet on the Monday morning by an hour-another "to do" for our next stay.
