We had a very nice room on the third floor of the Grand Hotel which is right on Main Street. The room was nice and comfortable with great views toward the Swan Mountains to the east. We found the service very welcoming in the nicely restored lobby. The front desk person was very helpful in recommending a good restaurant for us for dinner. If we come back to Kalispell we will check back into this nice historic hotel.

Room Tip: Our room, overlooking the street, was fine for us but if you are bothered by street noise there are...

After many nights in chain hotels we looked forward to our stay at the Kalispell Grand Hotel. We had booked a room with a spa tub, whichadded to the experience. The hotel was exactly what we were hoping for. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is located in the historic district of Kalispell. We loved the character of the Grand Hotel and of the nearby shops.

Room Tip: If you can, choose a room with the spa tub

Very impressed with this hotel. Very clean and extremely friendly staff. Loved how they have a homemade breakfast and serve homemade cookies and popcorn in the evening. The hotel is very nicely renovated but still has the old feel to it. The lobby reminds me of a boutique. So very happy that we chose the Kalispell Grand Hotel. Will be staying again.

We chose the Kalispell Grand Hotel for a special experience when visiting the west side of Glacier National Park. We were really pleased. This old fashioned restored hotel in the heart of picturesque downtown is a great place, especially if you appreciate history like we do. Our room was very comfortable with a great pillowtop mattress that I still miss. I really enjoyed and appreciated the breakfast with its potato quiche and yummy breakfast breads and all the coffee and juice you could drink. Afternoon snacks in the relaxing lobby were equally generous (popcorn and cookies), and there was always a newspaper or two around to browse. Easy walking distance of lots of good place to eat dinner. Highly recommend this place!

We LOVED this little gem of a hotel! It is over 100 years old so there is no swimming pool or fitness center but the customer service was well worth it. The rooms may be a little small but it didn't bother us at all. They treat you to fresh cookies and popcorn in the evenings, and the breakfast is super yummy! The owner actually makes quiche for breakfast every morning that my husband loved, he won't eat the quiche I make but he ate this all 5 mornings we were there and even asked for the recipe! The lemon/raspberry cake is also to die for. The hotel is nicely refurbished and beats being in a chain hotel any day! We had 4 children ranging in age from 13-6 and never once did we feel like we were a burden to the staff, or the other guests, everyone was very kind and we had a great time!
