Selected this hotel for a short visit to Glacier National Park. The hotel is not terribly convenient to the park, but I thought it looked good in Tripadvisor reviews. The property is fairly new; unfortunately it backs up to a local recycling facility, which starts making noise around 7AM. The rooms are suites, with a separate living room/kitchen area and separate bedroom. Lots of space. Unfortunately, the only HVAC is a thru-wall unit in the bedroom, so the living area can get very warm and there is no effective way to cool it (there's a fan which has little effect). There is a real kitchen, which would be useful for an extended stay. Rooms are clean and nicely done, and beds are very comfortable. Staff was helpful. The breakfast was disappointing; only hot choice was biscuits and gravy (do people really eat that stuff?) and the only protein was hard-boiled eggs. Not even English muffins. At this price point (rooms were expensive, but it's prime tourist season) I expected better breakfast options. Internet reception was spotty. In summary, a nice place, but with some shortcomings.

This was a comfortable, clean motel and not too far from Glacier National Park, although if Glacier Park is your goal, you probably want to stay closer. However, we were given the room (112) below the dining room. We weren't aware there would be a problem until the morning after our arrival when we were awakened by chairs pounding and scraping the floor above. The noise started about 6:00am. As for location, you would probably be better off staying a few miles farther away in Kalispell proper as there are a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Some of the other reviewers mentioned the bad views and highway noise; maybe due to the dining room, we didn't hear the highway, but as we were using the motel as a sleeping room, the view wasn't a concern for us.
To be fair, we did not ask for a room change because we didn't want to deal with re-packing and moving all of our luggage, so I have no idea if they would have made the change. The breakfast staff was wonderful...check-in staff was good.

Room Tip: Check to make sure that you are not below the dining room...for sure room 112, maybe 114...

We regularly stay at the LQ chain because they are clean, are truely pet friendly (no fees), friendly, comfy (consistantly) beds, and have a decent breakfast. This one was no exception, but it also had an excellent breakfast buffet (included bisquits/gravey and real strawberries and whipped cream for the waffles) with flavored coffee creamer (yum)for the coffee. We didn't notice any noise as indicate in some reviews (we were in room 305). It's about a 1/2 hour drive to Glacier from the hotel. The hot tub was excellent and nice sized. The pool was cool and when I told the front desk, I was told it was set to the MT standard of 82 degrees (I guess I prefer warmer). The cookies in the evening are excellent. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay.

I stayed here for 10 nights while doing some hiking and driving through Glacier and surrounding areas. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the TV had lots of channels for those rainy days with nothing else to do. The DVD player was a plus as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot cookies every night at 7. Me and my dog looked forward to those. The hotel was pet friendly. Most pet friendly places aren't clean but this one was cleaner than 90% of non-pet friendly hotels I've stayed in. This is not a place that you want to stay if you want nice scenery but it's one of the nicest, closest hotels you can stay at if you are visiting Glacier. There is not a whole lot of choices near Glacier to stay. The lodges inside Glacier are closed in the off season and are pricey as well. It was about a 40 minute drive to West Glacier from this hotel. If you stay here, it's more of a get up and drive somewhere everyday type hotel. Nonetheless I had expected this and enjoyed my stay there.

If your are traveling to see Montana's beautiful scenery, this place isn't for you. The hotel itself was ok, the area wasn't. I wished we had chosen to stay closer to the Glacier National Park. When we were driving up there we saw such beautiful countryside.
The staff was nice, rooms clean. Nice pool.
We ate at 2 of the restaurants in Kalispell, they were horrible.

Room Tip: If you want the scenery stay in Hungry Horse, or Columbia Falls. The hotel is in the outskirts of Ka...

As another reviewer had said, the location isn't really Kalispell; it's Evergreen. And it is in a more industry laden part if town. No views. Not bad, though. Pretty centrally located, really.

The only problem we had was the noise inside. The room doors seemed to have some type of spring on them and they would slam shut if left go. Very loud in the morning and would wake me at 6am or whenever our neighbors would leave.

The front desk and room staff were very professional and pleasant. The evening cookies were a delight for the kids. The rooms were clean, but I think the bed we had was a little saggy and soft for my liking, but everyone has their own tastes
