“Watch the wood fire oven bake your gourmet thin crust pizza”
Reviewed June 26, 2011

First, this is a Montana company, with branches in Helena and other towns. This location is in a new, upscale designed strip shopping area, across from a movie metroplex, north of downtown, near Best Buy and Walmart. Initially I planned to eat in the restaurant, but like so many others, they are popular with families, and as a solo traveler, elected to take the pizza back to my nearby hotel. I ordered a medium Gallatin, which was $12.00, had mozzarella, tomatoes, olive oil, sea salt. They have many varieties, some with artichoke, some with andouille sausage, etc., but I like to keep it simple. Two people could split a medium, but each person would probably want another slice or two, so probably the large. I am a thin crust fanatic, and these were well made, no doughy crust!

Another popular chain in Montana is McKenzie River Pizza, but I would return to Bullmans if I were back this way.

“We think this is the best pizza in the nation”
Reviewed March 26, 2011

We've had pizza in a lot of high-end pizza places---or in other words, we're not comparing Bullman's to the pizza huts and pappa murphys, but against award winning pizza places with national awards, and we think this is the best or certainly one of the top five best pizzas in the nation. A very unassuming place, just slightly above strip-mall decor---in fact it is in a strip mall of sorts, but don't let the facade fool you. The pizza is cooked in a genuine wood-fired oven and carefully tended by a dedicated "fire man". Unique combinations or of course you can specify your own. Salads are fresh and with nice accompaniments and house-made dressings that are tasty, fresh and flavorful. This pizza gets a gold medal in our book.
Busy at typical times---at those times you'll likely have a wait for a table in this somewhat small place---recommend visiting at off-rush times

“Best pizza in Kalispell; perhaps best anywhere!”
Reviewed September 29, 2010

We're WA residents and we travel in the Flathead Valley at least three times a year and have tried a smattering of various pizza joints with mostly favorable findings. Pizza is our favorite food and we are always on the prowl for top-notch wood-fired pizza. A recent "Best of" article in a local Flathead Valley publication tempted us to try some of their nods in an unofficial test of our own. Bullman's was our favorite and was that much better than the others that it truly stood out in our minds as outstanding. Wood fired pizza is widely available where we live and one place was a multi-year winner of some national pizza award. We love the place, frequent it often and didn't think they could be outdone---we were wrong. Bullman's is now at the top of our pizza list, and we're saddened that we only will get to eat there on our trips to the Flathead. To be fair, the 4 other places we sampled were also very good, and certainly worthy of inclusion in the "Best of" article, but fell short of Bullman's fare. My only observation to the negative for Bullman's would be the limited seating; however, since this place otherwise seems to be perfect, far be it for me to suggest any changes that might mess with that success. Nicely done Bullman's! Keep up the good work.

“Good Pizza and Plenty of Options”
Reviewed June 6, 2010

Just opposite the Signature Theatre, this is a good stop for a meal pre or post movie. No host or hostess and sit yourself does not work too well when it gets busy, but there are loads of toppings available, the thin crust pizzas are very tasty and the salads looked good as well.

Two screens showing sports, a good stop for families, couples or small groups.
