If you are willing to try it, the elk burgers are very good. They do tend to be drier and more lean than beef, but that is not a bad thing.

We ate dinner here. We had the New York Strip Steak (tender & juicy), chicken fried steak (large portion but gravy wasn't remarkable) & chicken strips. Price was right.

Often Buffalo is tough. This was not the case. This burger was very moist and full of flavor. The Hucklberry cream pie was great.

The worst meal EVER. Don't waste your time. Had prime rib. Cooked not as ordered, pure fat . When I politely pointed out that it was craw and almost pure fat and griz was treated so rude and told nothing they could do. Terrible excuse for a restaurant .. Do yourself a favor and don't go.. Plenty of great places in Columbia falls ..

Hearty comfort food in tourist trap area. Recommended by our raft guide and glad we took his suggestion. Great elk burger. Had to order more tomato-parmesan soup (and some to take home) as kids fought over it. Huckleberry BBQ chicken was just sweet enough without being overbearing. Enjoyable meal if you are not expecting haute cuisine. Fits better with the dress-down Montana mentality.
