Stopped here on the advice of a local. I always look around to see the customer mix. A lot of local people, railroad workers etc having dinner. That's a good sign. I ate the chicken fried steak which is something I normally don't do. Saw it on other people plates and it looked too good pass up. Good mashed potatoes too! Its not directly on the highway and easy to overlook (no massive signs pointing to it like some other places along the way. OMG save room for dessert! Was treated like I was a regular, others have complained about service being slow... hey you want fast service go to a fast food place. Its a small restaurant so when it gets busy, things slow down. Try relaxing and enjoying the place a bit.
