The CM Russell western art collection is superb and nicely presented - photography was allowed throughout the museum as long as you don't use a flash. The white buffalo gifted to the museum is a treasure for all people - go upstairs and pay your respect to the white bison named "Big Medicine" who died in August 1959. The Native American history exhibits as well as those depicting Montana history are outstanding. The staff ran me out at closing time even though I had been there for over three hours - the ticket price is valid for two days.
