I attend The Cathedral of St. Helena every weekend. I highly reccomned it to anyone who wishes to see the most magnificent church in all of Montana. The Cathedral is not only a place of outstanding beauty, but of worship. It is the Cathedral for the Diocese of Helena. Mass is held every day, and Every mass is beautiful. The professionalism in the way the cathedral is kept is nothing less than perfect. If you are travelling to see beauty, or if you come for simplicity, then come to the Cathedral. You will not be dissapointed.

From the moment you see it in the distance, you know that it is going to be beautiful inside. As you climb the huge stone stairs up to the large doors, you can see into downtown Helena behind. As you step inside the cathedral, there is a small room with a couple statues, but the grand room is just inside. I can't even really describe the cathedral because of how much detail there is. It was a little dark when we went, but I'm not sure if it's always that way. The inside is very gothic with huge domed ceilings and pillars. All the windows are stained glass and the architecture is magnificent. When we went, there was someone playing the beautiful organ which could be heard throughout the cathedral because of the great accoustics. This is a must see in Helena for some real history and beauty.
