Reservations were easy! The sautéed mushrooms drenched in butter were artery-clogging divine.
Plastic table cloths, paper napkins, and styrofoam plate cheapened the ambiance of this charming and historic space. My dinner was very mediocre; I had the seafood skillet with tough and rubbery shrimp and other nuggets of seafood. The corn on the cob had the texture of having sat in a pot of water way too long. It's flavor (or lack there of) complimented the texture which is a shame as we are in the peak of corn season.
The staff were warm and attentive.
