Food was definitely overpriced for what we got. I ordered the filet and it came perfectly cooked, but the presentation was lacking (just meat and overcooked broccoli on an oversized plate). They did have a very classy atmosphere, excellent servers and a very nice wine selection. If you're staying at the Best Western, you can get to the Silver Star without going out into the cold!

Having the silver star cater our wedding was one less stress. They provided excellent food and there were many options to choose from.

Hard to believe, but it's difficult to find a really good steak house in Helena. Went here for a special occasion, and were disappointed. Prices are high, but the quality of the meat is not all that great. Service was fine, and architecture was fine. But few people were dressed nicely, so we felt that we spent a lot of dough on a mediocre evening.

For our wedding anniversary we went to the Silverstar Steak house. Our last experience there for Valentine's almost 2 years ago was a little disappointing, so we came back with some trepidation. They again tried to seat us near some windows with lots of lighting, but I told them we were celebrating and wanted a nice table. We were given a nice table in the inner dining room, lots of soft light and quiet. We had an excellent bottle of wine, calamari appetizer and enjoyed the service. We ordered prime rib and chiken marsala. The prime rib was a generous portion and roasted to perfection. The chicken marsala was also excellent and too much to eat at one setting. Dessert was tiramisu and creme brulee, both excellent. If I had to criticize anything it was that we mentioned a couple of times that we were celebrating and no one cared to know what or why. Oh well. We'll go back again the next time we're celebrating.

the deserts are outa this world. Service is first class. Very classey and the decor is really nice. Good menu. GREAT wine. Very busy place. Get a reservation. Right next door to Hotel and if you get a card from front desk you can charge meal to the room.
