The guide was wonderful and knew his history. There are a few stairs but fine for me. Clean and easy to move around beneath the streets!

Thank Cheryl F

One of those places to just go see.....It is a short tour, and a little pricy, but, somebody has to maintain and pay the bills on it and be able to show it! I loved the history of it!

I'm not native to Havre, but have been living here the last few years. I originally took this tour when I was in high school and decided it was high time I took it again. The tour guides do rush you a little bit, but it's because there is a whole lot to tell in an hour. Kids really seem to enjoy it. The history is fascinating and even though there isn't a lot of things they can touch, the oddity of some of the things keeps their interest. You do go through a bordello and a Chinese opium den, so it's not appropriate for all families. It is chilly in the fall/winter months as it's underground, but don't let that stop you! You will never see anything like it anywhere else in Montana. You feel as you're walking through a huge secret city. It's quite amazing and I'll guarantee you will want to continue visiting it. They are always finding new things and what they have uncovered is just a fraction of what could potentially still be buried beneath Havre. So what are you waiting for? GO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!

A very interesting tour if you like history. The guide was wonderful and could answer most questions. Tour took about an hour but I wish I could have gone a little slower so I could have read more displays but I had to keep up with the group. If your are in Havre it is a must-do.
