“Fresh food, good beer”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Bitter Root Brewing offers quality, fresh food -- something not to be taken for granted in a brew pub. I had the Pale Ale Braised Mushroom Tacos; they were tasty and they came with all the right fixins. The beer was good -- and it was served nice and cold. Ahhhh . . . The place could use a little sprucing up, however. Too much exposed plywood and the seating wasn't comfy enough for us to want to hang out and try more of the diverse beer selections.

“Double IPA Delivers”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

Great beer. What can you say? If you love beer, you love the Bitterroot Brewing Company. The food is average, but who's there for the food?

“Bonus points for all the yellow.”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

But really. Good selection of beers. This wheat lover was thrilled to see two hefeweizens on the lineup - one with ginger and the other with huckleberry and honey. My husband enjoyed their double IPA. The food is a little more than you'd expect for a brewpub in a small town, but it's a little bit more creative, with goat cheese on salads and picked radishes on the tacos, plus plenty of fare featuring their brews. Not quite the freshest prep, but still tasty.

“Standard Issue Brew PUb”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

The beer selection includes the expected diversity: heavy on the IPAs, an amber or two and a wheat. Food is decent including mostly standard pub food with some items featuring local items. The room is very loud so conversation is hard, especially with large groups.

“Just Ok.”
Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

We had lunch after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Basically frozen food that they heat up. We weren't very impressed. Probably won't go back.
