I was just visiting Great Falls and MacKenzie River was the one dinner out we had together (it was a fast trip) and it was perfect. We had a half vegetarian, half meat pizza and it was delicious! I love pizza but rarely eat the crust (more space for cheese and toppings in my tummy) but I ate it all here!

Went in on a Saturday, and got there early as we had a party of eight. Called ahead and they do not take reservations, but did leave a note with the hostess, so we were immediately seated even though part of our party was not yet present. This was a win as we had a chance to review a fairly extensive menu and select some good appetizers. Tuff was our waiter and was helpful in answering questions. The hummus, particularly the spicy variety was a favorite. All food selected among pizza options turned out great and timely, even though the restaurant was full at that point. Had family there and glad we went. Would recommend for most any occasion. The other value was the location was immediately adjacent the hotel we stayed at which was great

How did it take us so long to discover the MacKenzie River Pizza Company? It is a chain of pizza parlors with locations in Montana, Idaho, Washington, South Dakota, North Dakota, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Nevada. How many of them have we passed until we arrived in Great Falls, Montana? Well, we won't make that mistake again. Not after stopping at the MacKenzie's location at 500 River Drive South in Great Falls. MacKenzie's is a pizza chain but it offers so many other delicious and unique options. Like lodgepoles, an appetizer of fresh baked bread with olive oil, garlic and mozzarella served with marinara sauce. Or rollinos, pepperoni, basil and mozzarella rolled into a golden crust and served with marinara sauce. Or Chorizo meatball skillet, spicy Chorizo meatballs baked in hearty ranchero sauce and topped with avocado sour cream, gueso fresco and cilanto. Or Bear Tooth sausage, with classic tomato sauce, hot Italian sausage, diced tomatoes, red onions and red peppers and mozzarella. Yes, the signature thin crust pizza is very popular in Big Sky country. But my wife and I settled for Caesar salad, chicken chili, linguine with meatballs, roasted turkey sandwich and warm apple cobbler. In the future, we'll be on the alert for MacKenzie's.

Came down to partake of their pizza month offer. Had a Humble Pie and a Reuben pizza. Both were good but I could have done without the sweet ricotta cheese ring on the Humble Pie. The Thousand Island dressing on the Reuben pizza was sweet but nicely offset by the kraut and corned beef. Otherwise, both were good. Only three more to go before the end of the month.

Also had their house salad which was delicious and a great value at only $5.

Since Monday was double points day as well as half off all desserts, it was a great value and a delicious meal.

The no flour chocolate cake was fudgy and excellent. The apple crisp served in a hot 6" Lodge cast iron pan with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was good. Slightly gummy but acceptable

I felt service from the kitchen was slow, however our server Thomas did a great job.

Definitely a repeat...possibly next Monday.

Very popular, but not my style of pizza. Was not a bad pizza, girls had the buffalo chicken pasta. Lodge poll, cheese sticks were a good starter. Pretty pricey for pizza.
