“Its ok.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2009

We were there July 3/09. We were quickly seated and our waitress was very attentive. The menu is quite expansive, lots for everyone. I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad, it was a good portion, but the greens were old and wilting, the dressing, which was served on the side, was supposed to be a peanut dressing but it tasted more like a mild curry. Not what you would expect but it was an ok flavour. Overall it is good enough to visit, the pizzas are pretty good, and maybe thats what they should just stick to.

“Greatest Pizza in Great Falls”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2008

The kinds of people who don't like MaKenzie's are the same people who usually like the greasy mess served at Howard's. Ignore them.

I have had the veggie pizza here and a custom job with pineapples and broccoli and both times the pie has been very good. The crust is not that exciting, but the ingredients are top notch. Very fresh. Not greasy at all. B+

Atmosphere is contempo-rustic, Montana arts and crafts style. The booths are large, clean, and nicely lit. A

Staff are friendly, helpful, competent. A

A nice place to eat and then take the dog for a walk by the river. And the best pie I've had in town so far (which is admittedly not saying a lot).

Overall grade is A.

“Terrible - not worth it!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2008

Dined at Mac Kenzie River Pizza Company 24 June 2008.
$8.25 for 6 inch sour dough crust pizza. Sparse toppings and bland pizza sauce! I was greatly disappointed as this came recommended asTHE BEST place in Great Falls for pizza by long-time residents! Skip this place, but don't miss walking along the Missouri River!
