We enjoy the history of the Corp of Discovery, Lewis and Clark's exploration to the west coast. When we visited this center, we were taken along on the journey with the explorers, seeing what they saw, what they took with them, and the experiences they had. The location next to the Missouri River where they traveled is inspiring, near the Great Falls of the Missouri, where they had to portage around for many miles. All in all, a terrific place to spend a morning, and we will very likely return again.

We are Lewis & Clark (and Sacagawea) fans and have seen and done much of what there is in relation to their expedition in different places in the country: Wyoming, Missouri, Tennessee. This was a must-stop for us and it did not disappoint. Well worth it and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. If you are a National Parks Annual Pass holder, you can use it here.

It was really informative and interesting. Unfortunately my 5 and 9 year old were antsy and not quite as interested as I had hoped. It also leads out to paths that will take you along the Missouri river.

Four of us were there from Florida & had one day to check out Great Falls before flying home. We chose this museum after reading the reviews and so glad we did. We all felt it was so interesting & informative! Not at all boring!

They had an excellent display on the expedition, with historical info, personal info, hands on. We watched the movies that were professionally done and listened to several ranger talks about a wide array of topics related to the expedition. If you haven't been, you need to go.
