“Go for the fossils, ignore the placards on displays”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

As other reviews has said these museum in based on creationism and that earth is only 5000 years old. However the staff tells you this from the start, so I wasn't caught off guard by it.
The fossils on display are very interesting. Upstairs I learned quickly to not read the placards on displays since they were a bit preachy and I don't much care for what they had to say. Just take it with a grain of salt if creationism is not your thing.
The staff is friendly and unless asked avoid the creationism aspect entirely. They are floatibg aroubd ready and eager to answer any questions you may have. If your into fossils and dinosaurs you will enjoy spending and hour or do here. Be aware the cost is $7 for adults.

“Quite the experience”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

This is a dinosaur museum based on a creationist view that the earth is only 5000 years old and dinosaurs lived with humans. They are very upfront and tell you this right when you go to pay your admission. We knew before we went the type of museum this was and, even though this is not our belief, we thought it may be interesting. It didn't disappoint.

The exhibits were very well done and our son loved it. It's a decent size museum for such a small town. We spent about 1.5 hours there. For a lot of the exhibits, there seemed to be a more scientific description of the actual dinosaur, and then added a final paragraph discounting that dinosaurs are millions of years old.

I was a bit concerned that the staff would be very pushy, but this was not the case. There was a very nice woman in the underwater entry area and she was so kind to our son and didn't even get into the creationist stuff. She was just pointing out the different dinosaurs. No one else even approached us the entire time (although there is staff to ask questions if you want).

Regardless of your beliefs, I think this is a very unique museum to visit. It is interesting and made for a good discussion between me and my husband on our road trip. And it has some nice quality exhibits.

“A Different Experience for sure”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

They claim the Earth is only 5000 years old and that Humans hunted the dinosaur to extinction!. I am not exaggerating here! that being said, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The Museum is beautiful with fabulous Dino displays. They have some really neat fossils and bones on display. I do recommend visiting but it could confuse the heck out of your kids

“Museum or church?”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

If you are fundamentalist or prefer to ignore modern scientific thought then you will probably enjoy this place. It is not based on anything other than biblical beliefs but portrayed as the truth. Go to the other dino museum downtown or take a drive north to Fort Peck to see a real museum about dinosaurs and archaeology. Would not recommend this to someone who is expecting intelligent presentation of science.

“Thought-provoking/nice displays”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

Yes, the owner is Christian and some exhibits present the evidence for Creation instead of life by luck. But the dinosaur and fossil displays are well done and seem accurate. There is also a display of some rare biblical documents including a 1611 KJV BIble. Lots of books.
