We got a river view room which was in a different building than the main hotel. The view out the window was pretty amazing, right above the river and we watched a herd of elk in the evening, then a mule deer the next morning from the window! Hotel is easy to find and rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was in a restaurant next to the hotel and was a nice selection of hot food, cereal etc. You do have a server to bring drinks so you might want to tip a few bucks for that. The only drawback of the river view rooms is that the pool/spa is in the main building so it requires a walk across the lot to get to...probably not a big deal in summer, but pretty much a deal breaker in the winter! However, we were not planning to use the facilities so we were happy with our river view!

Room Tip: River view rooms are very nice but in a different building than the pool

While visiting Yellowstone recently, my husband and I stayed here. We booked a mountain view room, and were given a room on the first floor, with a view of the parking lot. (Slightly misleading.) Our room had a door on the inside and a door to the outside... which we weren't super comfortable with, but we accepted it. The room itself was fine. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had all of the amenities we could need. We didn't sleep super well, however, because of the traffic coming in and out of the parking lot and the doors slamming to the rooms around us.
We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room while we were visiting, so it was a fine stay overall.

We spent most of our week in Yellowstone at this hotel and loved every minute of our stay. The location is excellent as it is only a few minutes (seriously) from the North Entrance. The free breakfast is outstanding, and the nearby saloon is a lot of fun as well. For such a reasonable rate, I found the room to be outstanding. I guess my only complaint was that the ladies at the desk were not very friendly, but whatever.

The motel is in a great location for visiting Yellowstone. It is little pricey for what you get but anything that close is. Staff was at times lost and unsure how to get things done. Breakfast buffet is included in price and makes it convenient and quick to get your day started. Not like you are going to find a five star and if you do I would hate to pay the price.

The girls in the reception did a good job. Our room had a strange smell, maybe a dog or a bear has been in our room just before us. We went to Yellowstone, overlooking the hot springs and so, and when we went back, the smell was gone. We had breakfast included the room rate - it was not very inspirering. The area are lucky to have the entrance to Yellowstone Nat. Park in the backyard.

This Hotel is a wonderful place to stay right at the North Entrance to Yellowstone Park. Rooms are large and updated. The Staff is friendly and helpful. You cannot beat the view of the river and mountain range right across the river. The breakfast provided at the Restaurant was very good and a bonus. The dinner we enjoyed at the same Restaurant the Yellowstone Mine was very good.

good place to stay. nice pool and hot tub area. restaurant nearby too! Great location near entrance to Yellowstone. I just stayed for 1 night before I met others in a B&B in Gardiner. No issues at all. Perhaps just a bit high on price, but acceptable for a resort area.
