We spent 3 nights with our son and his wife at Gardiner Guest House. Nancy is the perfect host delivering excellent breakfasts, with the main entree changing each day. Also buffet of cereals, fruits, yoghurt and toppings on the side. The main entree was completed with home made apple/raisin bread or muffins. Snacks and refreshments were available upon our return - including delicious cookies. We left 6 a.m. one morning to view the wild life and Nancy prepared for us 4 wonderful individual picnics of satsuma, juice, yoghurt with a bag of granola toppings, walnut bread, nuts and chocolate raisins, crunchy chocolate bar and hot flask, so much appreciated on an early start to our day. When we left Nancy gave us cookies and brownies ( to die for). Nancy and Richard are very knowledgeable about the wildlife and areas to visit and always had time to chat to you. Thank you too Nancy for helping Barry and myself out collecting us from the Dime when we were unable to contact our son. Very close to eating in the town and would recommend both the Dime and Rosies restaurants.

We returned to the Gardiner Guest House because we enjoyed it so much in 2009. Nancy and Richard are the greatest innkeepers. The breakfasts are bountiful and delicious. They are located near Yellowstone National Park so it is a convenient place to stay. They are very helpful with information about the park and surroundings.
We would definitely recommend this cozy place to stay.

We stayed here for one night before entering Yellowstone. Our room was clean and comfy. The host recommended a really delicious steak/barbeque place within walking distance, the name of which escapes me. The library helped us plan our days in Yellowstone. Breakfast was delicious and filling, keeping us til dinner. The host even sent us on our way with some leftover homemade sweetbreads that we continued to enjoy the next two days.

My husband and I wanted to discover the Yellowstone NP in three short days. We chose the Gardiner Guest House, because of it's close proximity to the park. We were very satisfied and happy with our choice. Nancy and Richard were great hosts. Our bungalow was cute and clean, the breakfasts were profound and excellent (all home made by Nancy!). Richard's knowledge about the park is enourmous. Following his suggestions we were able to see everything we wanted and beyond. Thank you for your hospitality!

We spent 2 nights at the Gardiner Guesthouse, during a 2-week holiday in Grand Teton and Yellowstone. We had room 3 - a beautiful room with private bathroom, and the most gorgeous quilt on the bed. Nancy has a great eye for interior decoration. Breakfasts were sensational: range of cereals including gluten-free, with yoghurt, seeds, nuts and fresh berries, and then sausage, eggs and homemade muffins, or gluten-free pancakes and bacon.
We had our best single day while in Gardiner: up at 6am to go and photograph the travertine terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs at dawn, with elk and a surprised rabbit, then back to Gardiner for one of those fortifying breakfasts. Then we did a 6 1/2 hour trek up Sepulcher Mountain, where we saw more elk and ptarmigan, followed by a long soak in Boiling River, with swimming towels thoughtfully provided by Nancy. a Snake River lager in the Guesthouse's pretty garden, and finally the best steak of the holiday. Perfect day.
Would agree with other reviewers that The Loft is a great place for dinner, just round the corner from Nancy's.
And Nancy, if you're reading this: Thanks for a lovely stay, and we found a beer you might like - Obsidian: nice and dark and mild!
