Nancy was incredibly welcoming and the b&b is very homely. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is stocked with everything you can possibly need, and breakfast was amazing! Nancy and Richard were very friendly and chatty and generously looked after some of our bags and received some post for us whilst we went hiking in Yellowstone for a few days - we were even given pumpkin pancakes to take with us! When we returned, this was the perfect place to relax and have a bath after time in the backcountry.

Nancy was the best of innkeepers that you should expect when you choose to stay at a B & B. I found her a joy to talk too and extremely friendly and informative with local information. Their home is very comfortable and open, furnished to a Victorian style. Breakfast was delightful and Nancy joined us for the meal I did not want to leave the breakfast table. Our only mistake was booking for one night, we were on a road trip. Stay here and you won't go wrong.

We stayed in the hobbit house for three nights. It was absolutely stellar. Breakfast was incredible. The proprietors loaned us all kinds of equipment for our adventures. They took great care to consider my peculiar dining requests. This was our second trip to Yellowstone. We will certainly return. The only place we will stay is the GGH.

My wife and I stayed in the Cabin (Hobbit House) for four nights in late July and mid August (two separate stays) and were thoroughly impressed with the superior hospitality of the hosts as well as the comfort and uniqueness of the accommodation. We were welcomed like long lost best friends by Nancy and the outpouring of kindness and support continued the whole time we were there. The breakfasts were all outstanding and supremely delicious. The cabin was rather small, bedroom upstairs, but very well equipped and comfortable. Small kitchenette served our needs and the main house was awesome. We unequivocally recommend this B&B accommodation and would stay there again, very likely the best B&B we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Thanks to Nancy for making it so very special!

Room Tip: Stayed in the Hobbit House and loved it!

I might be repeating other reviewers, but here goes. Nancy and Richard were the best of innkeepers that one should expect when you choose to stay at a B & B. They were as friendly as could be and were filled with local information. There home is very comfortable and open to all guests. It is furnished with a quaint shabby chic look. They also were simply interesting people in their own right. We came there unexpectedly as a result of a snow alert and wanted to be through the pass. Having no Internet in Yellowstone, our daughter, back home, did some research and connected with Nancy. Our daughter said Mom you must stay there as they sounded so friendly just on the phone. Our room was comfortable and large with its own bath. Breakfast was delightful and the innkeeper joined us each day for the meal. We hated to leave the breakfast table. As usual, it is aways fun to meet the other guests at the table. The town itself has been in a few movies as it is quite unique, but not much happening. Nancy gave us some great recommendations as to where to eat and that alone was worth the stop in Gardiner. Stay here and you won't go wrong. Thanks Nancy!!!

Room Tip: I do believe all of the rooms do not have their own bath, but the hall bath is only for them, even if it is in the hallway
