The Dinner was quite good for the variety of dishes served. The service was excellent.
Breakfast buffet is well worth the price - very good quality and good service at your table as well.

“Great Food...”
Reviewed June 12, 2014 via mobile

We ate here last night the food was really good typical oldstyle american restaurant food nothing that we had was over the wall spectacular, but we weren't expecting that either. The bread that they serve in the beginning is great, we both had prime rib that came out fabulous served with a sweet potato and asparagus and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. The nostalga atmosphere of the old mining days was really nice to look at. The service was good, they were very polite. Although we did have a hard time understanding our server, she was very polite and pleasant the whole time. Would I go back, yes, lots to choose from for steaks, pasta, fish, etc... They also have a little gift store in front as well as a lounge/bar in the back area which we did not visit. If you're in the area try them out you will not be disappointed.

“Friendly, Choice of Locals, Good Value”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

The outstanding feature both at dinner and in the morning at breakfast was one particular waitress who smiled constantly, even hummed along with the music, and was friendly and attentive (chose a nice table for a woman dining alone!) and brought heaps of classic "vacation food". The food was tasty and very plentiful. I had delicious trout almondine with sweet potato, salad, and asparagus - all prepared well. Breakfast was a huge omelet with mushrooms and cheese. Other diners included families, local workers - overheard about all the staff arriving to work in the Yellowstone lodges, and local couples. My meals were very early in the Yellowstone season, mid-April. Decor was nice with a big gas fireplace and wood/stone interior with some "mining" features. I will definitely dine at the Yellowstone Mine again when my husband and I visit together later this spring.

“An option worth considering”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

I was pleasantly surprised the food was fairly good here. I had the walleye and I really enjoyed it. The portions were generous. The decor is tired and dated. Like all of a Gardiner, I felt I was visiting another era. The service was very good.
