I stayed here with my hubby and dad while visiting Yellowstone last week. It met our needs just fine. Nothing fancy, continental breakfast only, friendly staff. If I remember correctly there is no elevator, we were on the second floor.

Check in went smoothly. Went to my room to connect devices to wifi. None would connect. Went to desk where rude arrogant man tried to blame it on my devices. We have been on the road for 7 weeks up to this point, never having an issue. I have an IT background, and some of the steps they guy wanted me to do just didn't make sense. When I told him that, he tried to tell me how smart he was! Then he threw a piece of paper with he 800 number for the WIFI support people. The password (handwritten in poor penmanship) was wrong. The tech support guy got us on line. I forgot how poor breakfasts are at Super 8s. No protein other than hardboiled eggs and sugar laden yogurt. I think I'm done with this chain. The jerk at the desk was the icing on the cake. There are plenty of other choices in Gardiner. Stay at one of those!

First off, this is my first and only 1 star ever. This place and the general manager, Judy, however, deserves it.

Check in was terrible. Diana was the opposite of friendly, and definitely not welcoming. If I had a reasonable backup plan, I would have left at at that point, but the option wasn't there. Hands down the worst check in experience I've ever had.

The room was clean minus some long hair in the tub. Basic amenities were there, a small coffee pot and a small refrigerator. We were on the ground floor and heard people walking around above us frequently. The bed was adequate. The in wall a/c unit was extremely loud and ran all of the time. We had to raise our voices to talk to each other. It was definitely uncomfortable.

The hallway air freshener smells awful and did so the entire stay. It makes me wonder what it is covering up.

"Breakfast" isn't quite a proper word for it. Bread. Oatmeal. Cereal. Coffee. Pastries. Eh...

The parking lot is small but accommodated us fine. I think others had to park elsewhere, however.

Checkout was a heartache again. Judy (the General Manager) was at the front desk and provided my receipt when I checked out. Then I received my receipt for almost $70 more than I was told at check in, I explained the situation and conversation with the previously mentioned staff members, she said "no, they would never say that." She straight up called me a liar. I am absolutely appalled. I tried to get her to understand and she repeatedly said that what I was saying wasn't the truth. Over and over I explained and she told me her staff wouldn't do that and they know better. I told her that this review would go on trip advisor, Facebook, yelp, etc and she said "I don't care about any reviews".

Finally, after 15 minutes of trying to get her to understand, I told her to find the sheet I signed when I checked in. And sure enough, it was as I said. I asked her for the sheet but she refused and said no, you are paying it anyways. I said "you know what, you don't have my signature accepting the change, so I am going to dispute the charge and you aren't going to get anything." She begrudgingly reduced it, but not for the amount that she should have.

Based on my check in and check out headaches, and working climate that accepts disrespectful and terrible customer service, I would not recommend this at all. If you have any trouble while you are there, rest assured that it won't be resolved to your satisfaction.

Had a room with 3 queens. Prices was good however the room seemed outdated and actually smelled as if- even if it was many years ago may have been a smoking room. Im not sure but thats what it kind of smelled like. Location is good. Pool was the smallest and cloudiest of all the pools from our trip. No hot tub. Breakfast was ....ok... we actually ate out one morning instead of the hotel breakfast. The A/C also did not work well... or at all. It seemed to only be blowing air around and not making the room cool- making that old smell just kinda linger more.

Room tip: dont count on cold a/c but a good value overall
