Horseback riding and Rafting were both amazing. The views at Hells a roaring were great. The Ranchers up at Hell's were all super nice and a pleasure to talk to. After that we went down to Gardiner for our free lunch. We expected something meh but were treated with the option of either going down the road to a food truck by a Sinclair or a coffee shop. We chose the food truck and I had some of the best ribs I have ever had for free. Went back to Raft and our Raft lady was a pleasure to talk to and a good time. When I come back again I'm doing all my stuff through the Flying Pig.
Any negative reviews you are seeing are from people looking to complain. 5/5 a blast all the way.
Thanks for taking the time to write such an awesome review. The food at the Grizzly Grill is great and we are glad to hear you were fired up about the ribs! Hope the remainder of your Yellowstone trip was excellent.

Great company that offers amazing experiences and the staff and guides are the best!!! Thanks for a great trip!
This was out first ever rafting trip. Our guides Jackson and Libby were great. Fun river ride. Can't wait to go back and do a longer trip down the canyon. We booked the paddle and saddle combo. Hell's a Roaring was also a great horseback riding experience.
Ok, we'll start with we love Jack and Steven. Jack was our guide; fun, great with the kids a bit of Georgia and Texas mixed in with local landmark, bird and water knowledge!! Great fun, first rafting trip for our kids and they want more!!! Can't recommend them enough.
Jack and Libby were absolutely awesome! Highly recommend ridding with them and they kept us talking and having fun the whole time!
I was heading to Yellowstone National Park for a Backpacking trip with my daughter The trip was cancelled two days before. So a friend of mine suggested a day rafting trip with the Flying Pig Adventures. Well that was the BEST decision I made, We signed up for the overnight rafting trip. We met Patrick and the crew at the Flying Pig in Gallatin Montana. They had us set up and ready to go in no time. They supplied us with wetsuits, jackets and booties (the water in cold in then thar hills) We were given instructions on how to sit on the boat and to paddle. So down we went and boarded the boat off we went for about a hour or so paddle. We arrived at the camp site and our overnight gear was waiting for us. Patrick showed us the lay of the land (campsite)
We changed out of our wetsuits and into our cam clothes and were greeted with appetizers by the river while Patrick cook us a great dinner. Steak and all the trimmings. After dinner it was camp fire and smores with great conversation about the river and surrounding area. We met Patrick's wife Libby and their cool dog Otis. It was off to bed in our canvas tent with sleeping bags and blankets, the out house was not far away. The next morning we were greeted by two elk who seemed to like to drag around our wetsuits that were outside drying. Patrick called us down to the river for coffee and a great breakfast or pancakes bacon and eggs.We changed into our wetsuits and packed our overnight gear and off we went. We paddled and went thru some nice class three rapids. We stopped at lunch Island and had a nice picnic lunch right on the shores of the Yellowstone river. We met up with some of the junior guides so they could help us paddle the tough section of the river. We ran the rapids and got wet and laughed alot. The guides told us about the area and history. We landed safely at the takeout and the guides took the boats from the water to the trailer and we boarded the Pink Flying Pig bus for the ride back to town. Our gear was there and we changed back into out camping clothes. Patrick and the crew took care of all the gear and even gave us some great advice on where to go inside the park to see some animals. So if you are looking for some fun good food and a little excitement, Then the Flying Pig Adventure company is the place to go in Gallatin Montana. Say Hi to Libby ad Otis Oh and ask Patrick to make his secret pancakes for you.
