This place has delightful sandwiches and coffee and breakfast and outdoor seating. I dig it. Plus they deliver. On bicycles.

“Quick lunch at a quirky bookstore/cafe.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

While staying Gardiner to tour Yellowstone, we grabbed a quick lunch at the Tumbleweeds. The salad was fresh and tasty, but the cafe was out of the dressing we requested. No big deal. The seating was limited, and we ended up crammed into a corner next to a rather grumpy patron apparently there for the internet access. It took quite a while for the sole employee to put together two salads, but we weren't in a hurry.

Fair trade coffee and delicious sandwiches made with wholesome ingredients prepare you for your adventures in Yellowstone National Park. Pets are welcome on the deck.

“Good place for a sandwich, but...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

We stopped at Tumbleweeds to pick up a sandwich to eat in the park. They had a good selection of interesting sandwiches, and we ordered one to share. It was plenty big enough for the two of us to share. The sandwich was very good, but I was rather disturbed that the girl making the sandwich failed to wash her hands after taking our money. She rang us up, took our money, gave us our change, and then proceeded to make our sandwich WITHOUT washing or sanitizing her hands. I should have said something, but I was so dumbfounded that I could not speak. The sandwich was very good but I had a hard time forgetting that it was made with dirty hands. Next time I will ask her to wash her hands before touching our food!

Try their apple ham and cheese sandwich. Never had one like it and it was amazing. Coffee's fresh too.
