We eat at the Cinnamon Lodge during our family ski-week in Big Sky. Always a friendly atmosphere and good Mexican food - not off the charts but hearty and some creative dishes. This year the steak and enchilada combo was a hit. If you like mild spice, ask to leave the salsa off entrees.

We heard that this was a good place but it took us a year to get around to trying it since it is on the way from West Yellowstone to Bozeman. The food was very good but the desert was fabulous. They have a sopapilla cheesecake that is simply wonderful. We liked it so much we looked up the recipe online and now make it at home.

They brought us some nacho chips & homemade salsa - delicious! My husband had the steak & chile rellanos (1st time he had it & LOVED it !) I had chicken fahitas.... again - a HIT ! The place was full and the 2 young ladies were working it wonderfully. We were in no hurry, but didn't have much of a wait. My husband was pleasantly surprised that the steak was cooked to perfection, considering how busy the kitchen was - KUDOS !!

16 of us traveled on motorcycles to Sturgis this year, along the way we stayed in several different hotels/motels. This by far was the DIRTIEST, UNCLEANED, and MOST AWFUL place I'd EVER stayed at. The view of the river was spectacular, and the restaurant and food was OUTSTANDING!!! but the accommodations were NOT satisfactory. I even complained and was told they would clean our cabin #10 yet after we returned, I could tell that not much was done and it hadn't been vacuumed in months as someone had changed into something new and the plastic tag was still on the carpet IN PLAIN SITE. Now to be fair, the cabins down by the river were gorgeous and clean.
I truly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
