Review:
Where do I start to review Rainbow Ranch? Our daughter was married at Rainbow Ranch in December, 2013. Mollie and her staff far exceeded our expectations! Mollie, the resort manager is a trained wedding planner and uses her skills to make sure that every little detail is covered. From local vendor recommendations, to sending picture updates (we wanted snow), to ensuring that her staff and facilities were well prepared for the event, Mollie is a pro. I can say without hesitation that Mollie is fully capable of planning and coordinating a wedding at Rainbow Ranch. The staff is so warm and welcoming and truly care about the success of the event. From Liz, the pastry chef who prepares the most amazing breakfast pastries (those croissants!) and creates the most beautiful, delicious dessert tables - gluten free on request, to Tyler, the bartender, waiter, do-it-all guy who greets the guests with a smile, to Joce who ensures your guest room needs are all met, I could go on with each staff member - the Rainbow Ranch staff becomes part of your family! The rooms are clean and comfortable with lovely amenities - the firewood was well stocked in the rooms with fireplaces. The food - amazing! Our guests could not stop raving about the quality of the food! This is not your typical event food - it is fine dining! The daily breakfast was always wonderful too. The location on the Gallatin River is beautiful and feels very private, even though it is conveniently located just off the main road. The main building is filled with local artwork and history - a true mountain western gem! I believe that in the end, what you will always remember is how a place made you feel - Rainbow Ranch and the staff there made us feel special and I look forward to returning often!

Room Tip: We saw all the rooms - the suites were lovely but we loved the Riverside rooms with fireplaces and t...

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Rainbow Ranch Lodge. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, the beautiful view, the hot tub, and the amazing breakfasts, and the fun bar in the evenings!
Everyone treated us like true guests!

Room Tip: We were a family of four and were very comfortable with the suite. It had a queen in one room, and t...

I stayed here the first weekend of December with my wife. It was a really cold weekend. Upon arrival we were happily greeted by the front desk girl, Joce. The lobby area is very nice cabin feel. We really liked relaxing in the lobby by the fireplace next to the window with a great view of the mountain behind the property and all the snow.

The room was a nice cabin look as well with our own fireplace. We were happy that we had a great wifi connection too for our phones.

Once we settled into the room we decided to check out the hot tub. What a great hot tub it is! It was around -10 or so and the hot tub was very nice and warm and we had an amazing view and even had a lit fireplace!!!! We relaxed and had some amazing wine. In the morning we had a great breakfast.

I can recommend Rainbow Ranch to anyone wanting to have an amazing Big Sky Montana experience!

We went here for my husband's 40th birthday surprise, and it was truly a magical experience. My daughter and I spent hours skipping stones in your pond, putting little sticks down the stream, rolling down your green hills (yes even me!). What a pure delight. Since we are not typically luxury lodge vacationers, I was worried that we may feel a bit out of place, yet our experience couldn't have been more the opposite. How you guys managed to marry a stunning, high class lodge with a no-pretense and welcoming ambiance is no doubt due to the quality of your staff. Needless to say, we decided that this should be a bi-yearly escape for us, so we'll see you again! I can't thank you enough.

Nice rooms with a lovely deck on the river. Really good food in the restaurant. A couple of nice walks from the hotel, and others within a short drive.
The downside for us was that the hotel is right on the road so there is some traffic noise and you don't really feel away from it all. We had to drive a bit further in to Montana until we experienced the Big Sky.

I returned to Rainbow Ranch recently after having my wedding there last year, and it was even better than I remembered. Our pond-side room (definitely the most luxurious on the property) was beautiful and relaxing and we walked in the door to find soft music and chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. And the bathrooms in these particular rooms are amazing! We had a fantastic dinner (bison, pheasant) at the restaurant and then took a bottle of wine to their newly-renovated outdoor jacuzzi. Even though the lodge is right off the highway, we could not have had a more peaceful, relaxing stay. Beautiful grounds, comfortable beds and great service.

RR Lodge is an amazing Montana getaway ranch, with an infinity edge hot tub, spa, bar, and world-class dining experience. They have an award-winning wine list. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar, then dinner. After appetizers and a salad of micro greens I was served an entree of pheasant. Simply ethereal. My wife had the Caesar salad and then the bison entree; perfectly done. Having experienced some of the fine dining available in southwest Montana, I can confidently say that the restaurant at RR is among the best. The rooms are comfy, the views are amazing, the staff is professional and courteous, and Yellowstone National Park is only a short drive away. There are even a couple of trailheads in walking distance from the ranch itself. I will be recommending this amazing place to family and friends.
